SITREP
For the first time in Fapovian political history, the citizens have elected their first female prime minister in what is being called a landslide victory.
The new PM is on an Island wide tour to celebrate the event.
She ran on the promise to clean up the corruption that has plagued the people for nearly 4 decades, at one stop on the tour in the costal town on Beratna, things went wrong.
At the hotel where the festivities were being held, a group of hardliners from the previous corrupt government took the prime minister hostage.
The faction leader, Caleb, has made the threat of execution if certain demands are not met.
- Removal of all foreigners from Fapovian lands.
- The restoration of the previous government.

Intelligence
Caleb is a previous member of the outgoing government’s cabinet as the Interior Minister. A vocal advocate for exploitation of Fapovo’s resources, he was vocal against the new PM’s policy on protecting Fapovo’s resources.
Since the discovery of uranium on the island, Caleb has been auctioning the uranium to the highest bidders. This has been a driving force in the new PM’s bid for government.
In addition to the uranium issue, Caleb is also being investigated in the disappearance (and possible deaths) of several high profile people within the government and the new PM has vowed to bring him to justice.
He also has the loyalty of a third of the military and has vowed to use them to achieve his goals.
The new PM, Jessica (or Jess to her friends) was once an Army Major in the Fapovian military as a medical doctor.
After years of corruption in the government, she decided to leave the military and run for PM.
Jess is suspicious that Caleb played a key role in the disappearance of her parents 7 years earlier.
Several civilian guests to the celebration were injured and taken to a medical clinic in the western side of Beratna. They are key members of the new PM’s cabinet.
A time frame was given by Caleb of 2 hours (after mission start) before he will have the new PM executed. Pressure placed on Caleb to deliver the uranium by the several purchasers may have lead to Caleb’s timeline.
Several smuggler vessels are docked in Beratna for the uranium shipments.
Mission
- Fly to LZ Juliet where vehicles and supplies are waiting, and then proceed to hold line.
- Once helo has inserted the rescue team on the Beratna hotel, TFA will assault the city.
- Rescue the PM and her cabinet; eliminate all hostiles within Beratna.
- Locate/secure uranium cargo at the military base in eastern Beratna, and destroy the smuggler’s ships.
- Proceed to Airport Botana International to capture Caleb alive for prosecution.
