SITREP:
In an impoverished African nation, a travesty to the local nationals is taking place. Straight out of the WW2 Axis playbook, experimentation on the populace is taking place by a prominent geneticist who is doing research into a biological weapon that is said to be 10x worse than Eboli. 4 members of the World Health Organization ( WHO ) were recently sent to a military base in the southern part of a remote province to investigate the allegations. They have now missed their scheduled check in by 12 hours.
Intelligence:
Current reports suggest the medical experimentation has only just started, but is looking to expand to
neighbouring countries. It is believed it is backed by a wealthy conglomerate of biotech research foundations, as the local military, the African Desert Army ( ADA ), has purchased several new weapons systems to protect the facility. They are believed to have a military strength in the region of 1000+.
Mission:
TFA will depart the airfield in the northwest section of the province and proceed to the airbase in the south, capture and hold until UN forces can land and take over security of the base. Capture alive the geneticist for crimes against humanity and rescue the 4 WHO VIPs. If any signs of atrocities are found,
photograph and mark on map the locations.

Enemy Forces Equipment:
Mostly recent cold war leftover weapons, but they are upgrading their stocks with the money provided by research conglomerate so you may come across some carrying modern weapons. Several Shilkas have been reported at the base, but not actively in use. Four helos are at the airbase, 2x UH-1 medivacs and 2x UH-1 gunships. They are also in possession of MiG-29s ( unknown number ) and Mi-8 troop carriers spread throughout the country. Intel has confirmed the ADA has purchased 4 x AR-2 portable drone systems ( DARTERS ). They are awaiting personnel to train them on their use. Enemy patrols are active in the region, possess AT and AA weapons as well as 40mm grenade launchers.
QRF:
The Enemy Forces are out in the field collecting locals for experimentation are their QRF. They consist of multiple troop transports, vehicle mounted ZU-23s and several MBTs ( T-72A ). There are numerous Technicals with DShKs roaming the countryside.

7.62 mm rifles have been secured to compensate for the large open terrain. Limited supply on ammo is available to all TFA vehicles along with limited medical supplies.

Unavailable from friendly forces. However, the gunships are available to be used, providing enemy AA doesn’t make it a short flight.
