SITREP:
It’s September 2023 and the Ukrainians have broken through the frontline defensive trenches in this area and are now concentrating on locating and targeting the Russian support locations.
Mission:
A Russian AA site has been located, and the Ukraine defence ministry have identified an opportunity. to not only clear the airspace for Ukrainian air assets, but also to protect the airspace against enemy interdiction.
We have been tasked with assaulting and capturing the AA site in a fully functional state.

Tactical Overview:
The AA site has been established since the start of the war and, as such the Russians have had the time to construct in depth defenses. Part of their defensive plan is to deny movement around most of the approaches to the site. Because the enemy have to manoeuvre and resupply there is one unmined route to the site. This obviously is controlled by Russian forces which we will have to fight through. This means that movement along that route will have to be deliberate and cautious. It is thought that an area around the objective out to an estimated 150m is unmined due to their own patrols. This gives an opportunity to manoeuvre tactically around the objective. Because of the importance of this objective, limited artillery support has been granted along with a supply of portable drones to facilitate our movement to the objective.
Mission Execution:
We will covertly insert to our forwad staging area and prepare, then brief.
There is a quarry nearby known to be in use as a vehicle repair yard. We will assault this location, clear of enemy and appropriate any available vehicles. Using any captured enemy vics we will advance on the town of Bielawa and neutralise the route contol defenses to allow us use of the unmined road. Advance on the route towards the AA site avoiding defensive ambushes and enemy patrols.
Assault and capture the AA site intact.
