SITREP:
Important operatives (2) within the Iranian government have gone missing. The ring of operatives, only known as Firefly to the west, have been feeding western intelligence organizations with vital intel for nearly a decade. The only known intel on the operatives is that there are both males and females in the organization and it’s not known who these missing operatives are. The only thing we are aware of is that the two operatives will be under heavy guard, and are scheduled for execution from a government enforcer known as the Sword of Tehran. It has been five days since the operatives went missing.
INTELLIGENCE:
There are several Russian made tanks and BTRs of various types in the area, along with several Technicals. Rumors have the captured operatives located in separate areas of the city for security reasons. As far as we can tell, no information has been extracted from the operatives since they are still alive.
MISSION:
Enter the city, locate and rescue the missing operatives and kill the Sword of Tehran.
Ground Topography: Middle Eastern desert and built up urban sprawl.
Weather: Hot and dry.
Civilians: The only civilians in the AO are the operatives. All local civilians are on a mandatory lockdown! TFA will not encounter locals during this mission.

OPPOSITION FORCES:
Enemy Forces Equipment: The typical Russian-made weapons; AKs, RPGs, Iglas, etc.
QRF: There is no QRF. The oppositions radical beliefs have driven them to be fierce warriors that want to die in the name of their faith. This will make them unpredictable in combat. They are not in any standard uniforms so as to blend in as civilians.
EOD/Mines: The main bridge is believed to be mined. Use caution.
Friendly Forces: TFA is on their own for this one. US Army Rangers are securing the FOB but will not participate in the op.
ROE: As per OC’s directions.
TFA EQUIPMENT:
Transportation: Captured Hummers that were sold to the Iranians by the Afghan government. Army Rangers are at the start point to provide security and have ensured the Hummers are ready for deployment.
Loadouts: Weapons provided by the Rangers on site.
CAS: Unavailable.
Communications: SOP will be followed.
Ammo: mixed
Rations: MREs!!! Yum!
Mission Failure: Death of the operatives and the Sword of Tehran’s continued breathing!
