SITREP:
A former Eastern Block state is experimenting with an unknown substance, and recently released a chilling video showing its effect on some very unfortunate animals. Unfortunately little could be determined about the substance from the footage, other than it is airborne and painfully lethal. They are trying to use their possession of this substance to put pressure on the international community to not mess with them and their wider aims.
Because of their aggressive behaviour we have been tasked with taking away their new toy. We have managed to learn that most or even all of this substance is currently in transit by convoy. Our task will be to capture the transport (intel photo below) and bring it back with us for further investigation, preferably without getting killed by whatever may be in that truck. The construction of the truck will keep out 5.56mm or smaller, but anything larger will make a nasty hole – and if the vehicle were to explode… Well, let’s just say the locals or us won’t be waking up anytime soon…
Luckily we are not the only ones fighting the local government. We have made contact with a local resistance cell, and they are very willing to assist us. Unfortunately communications with them are not secure, so we have been given a location to meet them at so they can get us updated on intel and any plans they may have made. We don’t know what they look like currently, but they will be waiting for us.
ORDERS:
1) Meet with the local resistance
2) Intercept the truck carrying the material, but leave it intact.
3) Take the truck and your own equipment to LZ outwards for exfil.
IMPORTANT: the truck is NOT to be destroyed under ANY circumstance, we do not wish to be responsible for an ecological disaster.

General : the enemy has both western and eastern equipment. Target truck to capture shown above
Armour: the enemy is reported to have modern western armour with lower grade Russian stuff mixed in.
Air threat: none. The enemy seems to have forgone air power in favour of a lot of extra armour.
Transport: APCs and IFVs are all russian. They do have some humvees for fast transport (with mounted weapons), but no other Western vehicles.
Friendly forces: none in the AO, only your exfil helos at the end
