SITREP:
There has been a new issue with IEDs in Al Salman East, and intelligence suggests that a new faction and bomb maker has moved into this area of Iraq. Your Mission is to locate, secure and destroy every explosive device that this person has made, and capture the bomb maker.
INTELLIGENCE:
The area where the new faction seems most active is around the brand new F.O.B. Nuts, near the Salman Bazaar.
MISSION:
TFA, you will be acting as US Marines EOD units.
Find any Intel that can lead us to the leader and bomb maker of possible new faction of extremists – examples are phones, laptops, note pads with writing, files.
Find as many IEDs as possible and defuse or destroy them!
Caution, you are also on stand-by as a QRF for F.O.B. Nuts!
MAP:
OPPOSITION FORCES:
Middle Eastern extremists with the typical Russian weapons and vehicles.
IED Threat: EXTREME Magenta
AA Threat: Man pads and Truck mounted weapons
Armor Threat: light armor
ROE: As per OC’s directions.
TFA EQUIPMENT:
ACR 6.8mm rifles for most, some with 40mm launchers.
DMR have a selection of 7.62 and .300 and .338 Norma Magnum weapons, including thermal sights and thermal binoculars.
CAS: Possible AH-1Z Helicopter on standby for air support. A gunner will be required.
Communications: SOP will be followed.
