SITREP:
Our first mission to infiltrate the island base of an international crime lord – codenamed Rhinestone by Interpol – went well. We captured their comms and data buildings, breached their networks, took the southwest island to act as our base of operations, and successfully started a gang war between the two most dangerous factions on the main island – the arms dealers (Coyote), and the mercenary group (Talon).
Whilst we were kicking the hornets nest, Interpol began sifting though the data servers to inform our next moves on the main island. However, our rescue of captured USAF Technical Sergeant Kenneth ‘Kenny’ Johnson has changed our plans.
TSgt Johnson testifies that he and other specialists are forced to work for the gang under duress due their loved ones being held hostage – in his case, his wife. If they do not comply, their loved ones pay the price – and one of the threats used is that they will be sent to the drug cartel group, official Department codename Mamba, for use in testing their latest concoctions. This fate may also befall any of Rhinestone’s operatives who disappoint him once to often, or otherwise outlive their usefulness, which is probably a major reason why Mamba is reviled by all.
On top of this, it appears Mamba also experiment with bioweaponry, and recent talk indicates they have somehow acquired some very nasty top tier biological agents to work with. There are also rumours of kidnapped scientists forced to work on the projects. Therefore taking them down has moved to the top of our To Do list.
INTEL:
The drug cartel operates on a chain of three small islands to the north-west of the main island. The only road connection between them is two narrow road bridges, one between the the north and central islands and the other between the central and south islands. Both have guarded checkpoints.
Information about the islands is basic. Mamba run a separate data network, and all efforts to access it from the main network have failed – we suspect this is by design. From general data we know Talon are only allowed barracks on the top island; no troops other than Mamba guards are permitted to operate on the central and south islands.
Our support vessel has done a quick high altitude drone survey, and marked several sites of potential interest, including a number of barracks, containment domes, and what they believe is currently the main experimentation site located on the central island. Interestingly, only that site on the central island appears to have a barracks, the rest of the Mamba barracks are on the south island.
MISSION:
PART 1: With the Departments so far still unaware of our presence, hijacking communications towers to keep it that way remains a top priority. There is one tower on the bottom island, and four on the top island. There is also one on the main island on an isolated high peak which may have some coverage of Mamba’s islands. Only the most north-western tower at the main airport is close to any towns or bases, and it is also furthest from the mainland, so we should be safe to covertly hijack the others first.
PART 2: Clear the airport and the top island. We should be able to liberate vehicles from Talon to help. As Talon are allowed to operate on the top island, we do not anticipate discovering anything of note here.
PART 3: GAS MASKS ON. Clear the central island, investigate all the locations and secure any hazardous materials, prisoners and test subjects ahead of the arrival of a specialist biohazard response team. Some prisoners may be gang members, but we’ll gift them to Interpol – chances are they’re not too happy with their boss. Collect any obvious intel, take evidence photographs of all discoveries, and keep an eye out for their servers and network routers – we need to compromise them to allow access to Interpol.
PART 4: Clear the southern island, investigate all locations and secure any hazardous materials. Interpol have expressed an interest in taking the leader of Mamba alive – if we can find him. Once the islands are secure, the Hazmat team will arrive to deal with whatever we have found.
Ground Topography: Rolling hills and countryside with small settlements.
Weather: A clear and moonless night.
Civilians: None on the top island or the bottom island. Test subjects and kidnapped scientists on the central island.
MAPS:

OPPOSITION FORCES:
Enemy Forces Equipment: No Russian black market equipment here, Rhinestone’s contacts ensure a supply of the latest NATO weaponry. Expect modern Western weapons, vehicles and kit, including NVGs for both factions.
QRF: Likely. The central and southern islands are the only place the mercenary group does not maintain a substantial presence in case of trouble, but Mamba have their own troops instead.
EOD/Mines: Unlikely, this is there home turf, but we don’t know for sure.
Friendly Forces: TFA is on their own for this one. Other forces are inbound to helps secure areas we take, but are still in transit.
ROE: As per OC’s directions.
TFA EQUIPMENT:

Transportation: TFA will reuse the patrol boats identical to those used by the mercenary group to insert, inckuding any detours to neutralise comms towers. We will then commandeer Talon vehicles on the north island.
Loadouts: SCAR-H LB as primaries for the DMRs, HK 416 14.5, M4A1 Block II or G36C for everyone else. Custom Covert, Glock 17, Sig P229 or HK USP for sidearms.
This is a covert op – SUPPRESSORS ARE MANDATORY, and NO explosives of any kind are to be used due to the expected presence of hazardous materials and captives to be rescued.
Hazardous materials expected! Gas masks are provided for your protection – ensure you have one.
CAS: Unavailable.
Communications: SOP will be followed.
Ammo: mixed
