SITREP:
One of the last international terrorists is on the run! He is taking refuge with the last drug cartel in Colombia, The Cartel de Sangre (The Blood Cartel).
The cartel leader, Rey de Sangre (The Blood King), is in a financial bind. With the Colombian authorities shutting down his export operations, his cartel soldiers not having been paid in over a month and he has been left sitting on several tons of cocaine. Rey de Sangre is desperate to get this last shipment out to regain financial income so he can appease his soldiers and keep the cartel alive.
To assist in the support of the shipment, Rey de Sangre has called in an old friend, El Asesino (The Assassin) to help with security. El Asesino is a notorious international terrorist wanted by Interpol and several countries for heinous crimes against humanity.
Colombian authorities want Rey de Sangre dead or alive. This will be the last drug cartel within Colombia, bringing an end to decades of murder and a stained international reputation.
Interpol wants El Asesino captured alive for prosecution at the Hague! His capture will bring an end to nearly 2 decades of terror around the world.
Intelligence:
El Asesino was last observed in the eastern province of San Antonio, the known location of the Cartel de Sangre and Rey de Sangre’s HQ. The Colombian government has loaned the use of US military equipment acquired from their recent membership into NATO. Interpol has gained permission from the Colombian government to find and capture El Asesino while destroying Rey de Sangre’s operation.
There are three locations where civilian hostages are being kept as leverage against the Colombian government moving into the region. The hostages are to be left alone, their location marked on the map and the Colombian military will secure and treat them – this is by request of the Colombian government. Several of these hostages are members of the Colombian Secret Services and wish to remain anonymous. Once their location is marked, notify Overlord and proceed on.

Mission:
Proceed from the Mission Start point and head for the HQ site southeast of the city of San Antonio. Eliminate all hostiles found along the way as mission time allows. Destroy the cocaine shipment, locate and capture El Asesino alive. Should Rey de Sangre be killed in action, take photo evidence of Rey de Sangre’s corpse and relay this to Overlord.
Ground Topography: Mostly low rolling terrain with a few high hills, sparse vegetation.
Weather: It’s Colombia! HOT!

Opposition Forces
Enemy Forces Equipment: Mostly AK rifles in the interior, with heavier weapons (GLs, AT weapons) near the HQ. The only vehicle threat known is technicals with M2s.
QRF: They are not heavily manned so any QRF will be very light.
EOD/Mines: It’s a cartel, expect anything!
Friendly Forces: None in the AO, except near the starting point.
ROE: As per OC’s directions.
TFA Equipment
Transportation: Squads will have MRAPS with resupply in the inventory of each vic. OC will have the respawn vic, a Hummer.
Loadouts: Typical NATO type weapons given to TFA to use during this operation.
CAS: Unavailable.
Communications: SOP will be followed.
Ammo: mixed
Rations: Local cuisine along the way. Pack some antacids thought! Caliente y picante!
Mission Failure: Death of El Asesino, failure to rescue the hostages and/or failure to destroy the cocaine shipment! As always, any ARMA glitches will be taken into consideration!
