Stand Your Ground: Empty Tanks

by Sgt. Ray. Mission date Tuesday 16th January 2024, 19:00 GMT

SITREP:

The Russian Federation and its allies are getting more desperate. Russian allies have invaded Poland in an all out push to capture vital resources necessary for continued survival, and as a diversion for Russian forces to invade Germany. While the majority of NATO forces are assisting the Polish defenses, Germany has requested help in defense of its territory in the east. NATO has enlisted the help of several PMCs, including TFA, to defend key strategic sites in the region. One vital site is the airfield west of the town of Rosche, Germany.

This base is vital as its location close to the Polish border, and it holds the supply of fuel for the vehicles and aircraft necessary to fight the invasion. 4 PMC units; TFA, Red Rock, Proteus and The Caesar Group. These teams are set up at the airfield to defend the strategic fuel supply and provide a safe landing site for NATO aircraft.

TFA has been given the task of direct defense of the fuel supply location in Sector 1. Since this sector is on the east side of the base, it is likely to see most of the enemy contact. Sector 2 is covered by Red Rock and is tasked to defend TFA’s southern flank. Proteus and The Caesar Group will cover the west side, including the airstrip.

MISSION:

Hold and defend the base from the Russian invaders. Since the base is a vital target in the region, massive numbers of troops of the VDV will be used. The airfield and fuel depot is to be defended at all costs.

Intelligence: Our sources have learned that the massive Russian war machine is very low on fuel and are experiencing empty tank syndrome. Since the Russian army has taken advantage of NATO’s fight to help Poland, they have managed to make it into Germany but at the cost of precious fuel. Radio intercept has it the Russian army is setting its sights on the airfield.

There are several tanks (2S25s) and support IFVs (BMD-1Ks) in the area heading for the base to take the fuel depot to continue their push into western Europe.

Ground Topography: Low rolling hills and farmland with sparse woodlands.

Weather: Warm and sunny.

The other PMC units will maintain their assigned positions during the operation. The possibility of the other forces entering TFA’s AO is highly unlikely. But be aware of your targets as the Russians will be in distinctive uniforms.

The leader of the Red Rock forces, Col. Baker (callsign: Papa 1), will be to the briefing to ensure that TFA is aware of the threats to the east. He is Red Rock’s equivalent to our Spartan and will be alone and operating a blue covered Hilux.
