SITREP:
TFA have been contracted to provide training and security for a newly emerged democracy. Freeaf is a newly founded country emerging after decades of civil war between three local militias. Having secured a forward base area TFA need to orientate themselves with the local area and its inhabitants.
INTEL:
For clarity, government forces will be known as Blufor, Militia 1 as GreenFor and Militia 2 as RedFor.
No aircraft other than TFA helicopters are known to be in AoR.
Mines and IEDs were used extensively during the war and remain a hazard.
Objectives:
- Use both land and air assets to reconnoitre Alpha and Hotel areas of operation.
1a. Produce a count of local militia members, their uniform and weapon types.
1b. Catalogue and map any militia fighting or support vehicles.
1c. Locate and map any camps or bases in aor. - Provide security for local police as they commence a weapon amnesty.
- Screen and train any recruits that government sources provide.
- Provide QRF to Areas of Responsibility.
Potential OpFor
Mixed local militia with light personal weapons, up to and include RPGs. No known ManPad in AoR.
Mixed light motorised forces.
