SITREP:
TFA has liberated a good portion of South Sahrani from the Ardistan Army rule. But there is a lot more of Sahrani to liberate. Picking up from where TFA last halted their advance, our OC, Red Weasel, is deep into planning the next phase of the operation into the heart of South Sahrani.
INTELLIGENCE:
The latest intelligence has the Ardistan leadership in disarray. They have requested assistance from their allies, but their allies have not been kind in their replies. In more layman’s terms, the Ardistans are on their own!
Rumors have circulated throughout the region that a planned evacuation from Sahrani is in the works. If this is accurate, this campaign could be over in a short time.
Ardistan Forces in Ortego have dug in. They have not moved any further west because of the hurt that TFA delivered to them recently. Members of the SPIDF have moved into South Sahrani and, as per PM Jes’ brief, the SPIDF is securing all areas in blue. On roadways entering the blue zone, SPIDF personnel have established checkpoints to prevent Ardistan forces from entering. The SPIDF forces are also patrolling within the blue zone so TFA can continue with the assaults.
Contacts in last mission may have been ‘light’, but that’s because they expected the invasion to take place in North Sahrani and most of their forces were in the north. This may indicate that the FSR leader, Yuri, may still be alive due to his high value in negotiations with the UN. However, they have been redepolying their forces to reinforce South Sahrani.
More T-72s, BTR-80As and Technicals have been seen by the FSR heading for South Sahrani.
Assests at the airfield have been placed on alert, but no orders for any sorties have been given. Intel suggests that this is due to the unpredictability of TFA.
MISSION
Continue the invasion of South Sahrani and destroy all enemy assests! Again, any enemy vehicles that are found unlocked may be used by TFA during the OP!
Ground Topography: Various terrains from dusty, sandy plains to high steep mountains. Could be a nightmare for TFA.
Weather: Early summer in the south Pacific. So warm and sunny.
NOTE: Again, Red Weasel is going to determine the next course of action for TFA. Same guidelines are still in effect. Go as fast or as slow as OC decides. Happy Hunting!
Friendly Forces: The FSR and the SPIDF are operating in the blue zone as previously mentioned. You may see some of the SPIDF technicals in the area. They are a QRF for the ground forces protecting the blue zone.
