SITREP:
An ambitious milita group is looking to use the current turmoil on the high seas to make a name for themselves. Two weeks ago, they assaulted and captured a bulk carrier, then a week later an oil tanker from the same company was successfully targetted. The shipping company have asked TFA to intervene and rescue their employees.
INTEL:
Common practice for the hijackers is to split the crew of a captured vessel, with some held on the ship and others taken to shore.
In addition, the vessel owner and two bodyguards were en route to the region to pay the ransom demanded for the crews, but have not been heard from for twelve hours. It is possible they are now also hostages.
MISSION:
Alpha: Use mini-subs and dive gear to assault and clear the oil tanker, securing any hostages still on board. Resupply and change into land assault gear, then clear the industrial port of Zappado and locate any remaining hostages.
Hotel: Insert by helo to assault and clear the bulk carrier, securing any hostages still on board. Commandeer the small boats used by the enemy troops, then travel to and secure Airport Fortieste against any counterattack.
Weather: Cold with a chance of fog – pack your thermals!
