SITREP:
After eliminating the General and capturing the diamond smuggler, TFA successfully recovered irreplaceable Data servers from a downed C17 and discovered the use of a radio numbers station in one of the African Desert Extremist camps. Intelligence services indicate that the numbers were intended to provide secure instructions to Extremists groups. The purpose of this has not yet established.
We have also been informed that the manifest of the C17 was inaccurate, and was loaded with four more servers than recorded. It has been discovered that these four servers are in the hands of the Extremists, and have been installed in four separate camps where they are attempting to decrypt the data and transmit it to a collating station, from which it will be transmitted out of the country to a destination as yet unknown.
The Extremists are not the most technologically advanced, so it is almost certain a foreign actor is involved. It is therefore vital to find evidence as to who the foreign actor may be.
INTEL:
The location of the collating station is unknown. At each of the camps, however, it should be possible to decode and upload the comms link bearing to the collating station for that camp. When all four bearings have been discovered we will be able update the map with accurate triangulation lines and locate the position of the collating station. Other intel may be discovered that locates the camps support units.
Other intel may be discovered that locates the camps support units.
Ground Topography: African Savannah and desert.
Weather: Early morning, sunny.
MISSION:
1. Assault and clear the camps of Extremists while obtaining the radio bearings and other intel. The camps are to be destroyed. One platoon will take camps 1&2 the other will take camps 3&4.
2. Act on any intel gathered referencing the support camps and destroy where able.
3. When the location of the collating station has been established, TFA will perform a company assault on the station and clear it of Extremists, then destroy the site after looking for indications as to who the foreign actors may be.
