SITREP:
Iraq is experiencing a civil war…again. Fallujah is the hot bed of faction infighting after ejecting Iraqi National Forces (INF) from the city. Extremists (known as The Fist Of God) have rebelled against a government that they feel have bowed to the west for too long.
With the bloodshed spilling over into the streets of Fallujah, UN forces have been called into assist with humanitarian support. With the international members gearing up for their support, TFA has been asked to run supplies through the city of Fallujah to the UN Relief Center in the northwest. Due to possible threats to aircraft being considered, UN officials feel its a more feasible approach to move the supplies by ground.
Intelligence:
The main highway east of Fallujah and southwest of the base is heavily mined with anti-tank, anti-personnel and IEDs. British Special Forces are in the area attempting to disarm the mines, but work is slow.
In addition, British Special Forces were the last to try and get their embassy fully evacuated by air, but several attacks by MANPADs have made this venture rough going. They have also been a driving force in obtaining 2 drones for TFA to use in surveillance operations for TFA’s convoy operations.
Extremists are active in the city, so danger to the convoy is high. No mines have been observed within the city, but chances are they have been planted.
Mission:
Alpha Platoon will run the convoy from the air base to the UN relief center through Fallujah.
Hotel Platoon will provide QRF response for Alpha Platoon via ground, as directed by Spartan.

Opposition Forces – The Fist Of God
Enemy Forces Equipment: Mostly late Cold War weapons and equipment bought or stolen from around the region. MANPADs are known to be in the area. Intel has learned the faction wants the contents of the supply truck for various reasons and thus will not destroy it, but the driver is still a target.
QRF: No established QRF is known. There are technicals w/DShKs, BDRM-2UMs and MT-LB W/PKMs have been observed in the city.
EOD/Mines: Only confirmed known is the highway east of the city and southwest of the base.
Friendly Forces: UN Peacekeeper checkpoints along recently swept routes within the city. Joint UN/British force at the base and UN forces at the relief center with US forces having arrived at the center.
