SITREP:
A USAF C-130 has been shot down over the island nation of Malden. The Malden Defense Forces have been warning NATO forces for months that any incursion into Malden air space would be met with force. The flight path for the C-130 was well outside the 12-mile limit in international airspace, so the attack is being classified an international incident. As tensions grow between Malden and the US, the Pentagon has requested the tactical expertise of TFA to go into Malden and rescue any possible survivors and retrieve any casualties from the crash.
The C-130 was on a return trip from another island to the US when the pilot reported being followed by four unidentified aircraft , then radio silence. Eight USAF personnel were onboard the AC when it went down.
Intelligence:
USAF personnel have been utilizing a coded message system to prevent any intel falling into enemy hands. If contact is made with any survivors, a sign/counter sign will be used. This will be given out at mission brief.
The USAF states there is no classified material on the AC, but request the destruction of any usable materials found at the site.
Mission:
Infiltrate Malden from the southeastern island via civilian helo located on the site.
First a 4 person team will stealthily cross the inlet to the town of Le Port. This brief will be given to Alpha and Hotel PLs prior to mission.
Second, once the objective of the 4 person team is accomplished, the rest of TFA will fly to the Le Port docks where transportation awaits. Proceed to the crash site, destroying all air defense sites along the way.
Once crash site is secured, load any survivors and/or remains for transport back to the US.
Continue to destroy as many air defense sites you can as you head for the main airfield in the north east. Secure an AC and exfil the island.
