SITREP

Welcome to Operation Savior 2.0,

The time cometh where no man can sleep.

Now that the forward airbase is back into allied hands, we still have to complete the resupply for the three FOBs. Plus our original mission to locate the missing cargo and/or the person or persons responsible for the hijacking and theft.

As you already know, the local army armored division sent to secure this region have joined forces with the insurgence, and are continuously hitting the three FOBs. Those guys in the FOBs are running seriously low on supplies and freedom pellets. We have destroyed two of the three mobile AA that had the main airbase shutdown and the NATO combat team took out the third, so an aerial resupply was attempted using CH-47s, but the first helo sent out was shot down by a SAM. The SAM location is unknown and it is also unknown if it was a MANPAD or radar guided. The last transmission from the bird was very garbled and the only discernable word was ‘Missile Incoming” before the communication cutoff. The aircraft is considered to be down and the crew presumed KIA. A search for the aircraft is on hold until the region has been stabilized.

We have been informed that additional resources are enroute but not here yet. That will include appropriate PPE for whatever type of biological weapon we are hunting (the alphabet club still thinks we don’t need to know yet), as well as better vehicles for the terrain and possibly heavy armor if needed.

INTEL

The area is still hot with insurgent activity as well as the defecting armored division. Expect heavy contact, IEDs, Mines, Heavy Armor, Light Armor, and the usual Technicals.

NATO command has instructed the local government officials to not send any more forces to the area due to the defection of their armored division. Any additional local forces will be deemed hostile and they will be treated as enemy combatants no matter how much they smile and wave.

Any non-NATO or non-TFA units are considered open season.

We will have jet air assets to hunt any SAM emplacements and/ or guidance radars so we can get some helos off the ground. This asset can be diverted for CAS if absolutely needed.

MISSION

Primary mission is to effect the resupply of the three FOBs using the two supply trucks we liberated from the forward airbase. Protect these trucks at all costs until the third FOB, or mission fail.

Secondary Mission: Continue with our original mission which is to locate the helicopters and their cargo/ passengers, as well as any other intel we can find.

Our mission is “CLASSIFIED”!!!
