SITREP
Time to begin our primary mission. The task of resupplying the three FOBs has been turned over to the local NATO forces now that they have been reinforced. They have numerous patrols out around the airbase and more reinforcements on the way.
Now, the hunt is on for the missing weapons from the MV Advent. Good news is that the alphabet club has decided, in their infinite wisdom, that we now have a need to know and have finally informed us that we are after weapons grade “Botulinum Toxin” (See Intel for desc). This is some seriously nasty stuff and should not be taken lightly. Because of this we have tripled our fee and NATO has agreed. I think none of their peeps want to risk their hides with this stuff. Our lucky day. LOL
More good news is that we have received new vics. As well as some of our own weapons and equipment!!!
INTEL:
Informants have reported that the armored division and insurgents have set up a small base to the southwest from the airbase between us and the town where at least one of the missing helicopters landed on the hospital. The other missing helicopter went further into the mountains. It is suspected that it landed at a remote dirt airfield for an unknown reason. Which aircraft was carrying the weapon is unknown. Could be both but at least one for certain.
Additional reports say that there are Russian elements in the area. Russian military or mercs is unknown at this time. The alphabet club is trying to find out and the Russian Government is denying everything.
It has also been reported that the enemy is also planning to make a run to take the airbase prior to trying to secure the area again.
HAZMAT Information:
Botulinum toxin, one of the most poisonous biological substances known, is a neurotoxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. C. botulinum elaborates eight antigenically distinguishable exotoxins (A, B, C1, C2, D, E, F and G). All serotypes interfere with neural transmission by blocking the release of acetylcholine, the principal neurotransmitter at the neuromuscular junction, causing muscle paralysis.
This weaponized version is formulated for widespread aerosol dispersion and if dispersed correctly can saturate a 40 mile+ area with near 100% lethality.
Where this was stolen from is unknown at this time.
MISSION:
Remove the enemy base and the chance of any planned attacks against the NATO airbase.
Move into town and secure the 3 marked locations and search for intel and/or persons that shouldn’t be there.
Move to the dirt airstrip and investigate the area.
Look for anything that looks like a container that might hold a biological weapon. If you find something, SECURE A PERIMETER AND CALL IT UP!!!
On a side note: Apparently not all of the armored division switched sides so let’s not just frag and clear the target buildings. If we find captive troops then call it up so that NATO forces can follow us in and rescue them. They are not our problem.
Look for any personnel that are not suppose to be there and capture them for conversation if possible and safe to do so. Try not to slaughter anyone that looks important for intel unless you have to.

Loadouts: New arsenals have arrived but not for uniforms. Also our PPE has not arrived yet or the rest of our gear. We are expecting at least one more C-17 to arrive with the rest.
