SITREP
TFA has been shot down! While returning to home from a recent successful mission, TFA’s C-130 transport was shot down by anti-air assets over Chenarus. With the Hercules out of action, TFA finds itself in hostile territory fighting to get out.
Intelligence
The Chenarus region is occupied by the European division of the CSAT alliance. CSAT Europe has recently taken over the government and placed the civilian population under martial law. Not much is known about the strength of CSAT forces, but intel suggests they are increasing their numbers daily in the region.
Unsubstantiated intel has the CSAT command setting up a SCUD missile refit program near the coast. They are replacing the old SCUD missiles with more updated and advanced missiles. Again, this is only a guess at this point.
There is an airfield in the northern half of the region where suspected helicopters are being stationed. The latest intel suggests they are the CH-146 Griffin gunships. This may be a potential threat to TFA’s escape efforts.
As intel becomes available, Overlord will pass it along to TFA to help avoid any heavy entanglements.
There is a known military training site to the southwest of the crash site where new recruits are training in the region’s terrain.
Mission:
Arm up at the crash site and the move out to the southwest to the training site. Secure transportation and proceed south for the coastline where an exfil will be provided. There is a friendly sub in the area and has been dispatched to pick you up.
There maybe additional requirements for TFA while in route to exfil. Stay flexible and ready for anything.
