SITREP
In the last 18 hours Military Forces of Badguyistan have occupied Southern Farabad Airport with several Transportation Aircraft and a number Fighter and Attack Fixed Wing aircraft supported by some Rotary Wing airframes. They have occupied a small area in temporary shelters and have a number of medium weight wheeled transport. They have not yet reinforced the Airport for a major counterattack. However we expect heavy transport of heavy combat equipment by air or ground convoy.
It appears Badguyistan believes it can bully and occupy the Farabad region without fear of reprisal and will hold firm to this belief if this incursion is not repelled.
INTEL
It is expected we are facing at least a Battalion of the 2nd Advanced Combined Arms Airborne Expeditionary Shock Division. Intelligence indicates there is also Pilots and Crews for all the Aircraft on site.
Weather: Cool and partly cloudy with a light wind blowing to the East. No precipitation expected for the next 24 hours.
Terrain: Desert terrain, several rolling hills all lower than 300 meters in our operational area. The Farabad Port is within a few miles
MISSION
TFA conducts a Hasty Attack on the Farabad Airport to Destroy or Repel the Badguyistan Forces and return control of the airport to the FDF
EXECUTION
Concept of Operation:
TFA will move by Vehicle into sector and systematically destroy or repel the Enemy Forces. Extreme care must be taken to avoid civilian casualties in the Main Air Terminal, we know that at this time the Airport is still operational so it will no doubtable have Staff and Travelers in and around the Terminal.
It is advised that once the Civil Terminal is secured, to move away from it to prevent the Badguyistan Forces from causing damage and or injury from directed fires into that location.
Once the Airfield is secured provide security for possible retaliatory counter attacks.
Scheme of maneuver:
TFA will operate in a combined effort with ground and air asset to find, fix and destroy the enemy in and around the Farabad Airport. The primary task is to neutralize the enemy personnel, any equipment that is captured will be turned over to the FDF.

Enemy Forces
Expect the Enemy to be well trained and motivated, they are armed with quality weapons, body armor, and communications. They are considered a well-trained force with advanced tactics. It is expected they have limited logistics and life support resources due to the nature of this incursion.
It is expected they will fight to the last of their supplies and if given a chance they may attempt to run back across the border if attacked by force. It is expected they will have a secondary unit standing by to reinforce the airfield if under threat.
Friendly Forces
The Farabad Defense Force (FDF) has been distracted by border incursions on the West and have moved what little strength they have to the West to secure their Western borders and has called in TFA to react to the Eastern threat. The FDF will continue to secure the West and provide Satellite Intelligence to TFA as it becomes available, but for this mission we are on our own.
TFA Equipment
Transportation: Each Platoon is equipped with Two HMG Land Rovers and a CMD Landy as Platoon Respawn Vic. Facilitated by Flag Poles at Spawn Point. 1 OH-6 Style Helo for fast battle field movement and recon.
Captured Materiel: Will be Left on Site for the FDF.
Communications: SOP will be followed
ROE: As per OC’s directions
Rations: MRE, Meal 13: Cheese Tortellini in Tomato Sauce.
