SITREP
After we recently took control of the airport, secured the release of Cal “Specter” Martin, and recovered additional data from Specter’s downed aircraft that he was not able to transmit before bailing, we currently have access to a wealth of actionable intel.
This information includes the location of AAF forces in the towns of Oreokastro and Panagia, the presence of an AAF FOB at Thronos castle, and that there are at least five Red Cross personnel being “detained” by the AAF, most likely at the Oreokastro location.
BRIEFING
As NATO forces continue to strengthen our foothold and set up a permanent base around the airport, MI6 officer WolfHound has tasked us with making a helicopter insertion under cover of darkness this evening to recover the hostages and do as much damage as possible to the AAF forces at Thronos castle, with the complete annihilation of the AAF forces being the ideal outcome.
As we secured the radar station at Eginio earlier today and maintain air superiority, we have no problem with Russian air assets in the A.O. so we can send in a heli to extract the team after the base at Thronos castle is destroyed.
Since the Red Cross personnel consider themselves to be “neutral”, we cannot guarantee that they are going to be cooperative with our “mercenary” operation, and since we cannot allow them to hinder our operations, they must be treated as hostile and secured as prisoners before transport.
We are expecting to be going up against lightly armed AAF forces with night vision capabilities and APCs at best, however, if we contact AAF forces prematurely, it’s likely that far superior Russian forces will be alerted to our presence and will intervene. With Russian access to special forces, QRFs, heavy armor and mortar / artillery capabilities, this is, needless to say, something that we need to avoid at all costs.

Primary Mission Objectives
- Secure the city of Oreokastro and recover the Red Cross personnel who are likely being detained there.
- Safely transport the “prisoners” to the extraction location.
- Eliminate all AAF presence at Thronos Castle, and use demolition charges ( M183 or Satchel) to prevent its future use by opposing forces.
- Pull back to Bomos to be extracted back to the Nimitz
