SITREP
Situation update, Marines, as Day 2 is approaching. After you secured the Comms FOB, we have sent a Marine Platoon to relieve you so you can rearm back here at Maxwell Field. A new Carrier strike group has arrived off the coast, the USS Bon Homme Richard (CV-31), 2x Destroyers, 2x Destroyer Escorts, and 2x Support ships.
MISSION
Marines, gear up and standby for helo insert to FOB. The Marines have taken heavy fire during the night and are in need of support ASAP. As we couldn’t fly at night, we are taking off first light to provide support and fend off attacks. During this time, helo pilots will fly to the support ship off the coast to bring in much needed supplies. So, for this mission, it is vital to have 2 pilots for the first part of mission, one to ferry reinserts to FOB and a second to run supplies from ship to FOB. Once the supply run is complete, then it can be down to one pilot to reinsert the troops. Other pilot will reintegrate with the troops.

Enemy Forces: Vietcong, PAVN and possible unhappy farmers with pitchforks. Equipment are standard Soviet arms and some Chinese items. Armor and AA are known in area.

TFA Loadouts: US Marine Vietnam equipment and weapons (Oh, some new weapons been added to give some interesting fighting)
Supplies: 2x Quad .50cal AA trailers, 2x mortar crates, 1x Arsenal, 1x medical, and 1x food supplies. All will need to be dropped off at FOB. NOTE: do not drop cargo off on helo pad marked LZ.
Transport: Available for use – 2x H-34 Seahorse and 2x UH-1E Huey (brand new, so don’t crash or we be stuck with the Seahorse)
CAS/Fire Support: Destroyers might be able to support, or some F-4s from the carrier. Do not expect it as it’s unsure at this time.
Respawn will be at the airfield and you will have to WAIT for the helo to return, so PLEASE DO NOT PING ZEUS for reinsert.
AMMO: Tried to send you in with a knife and a pacifier, but no mods for what I looked for..
FOOD: Plenty of snakes, rice and local wildlife to eat. C-Rations be dropped later
Prepare for a tough fight, a much-needed fight as TFA been too reliant on modern equipment. GOOD LUCK in the Jungles
