SITREP
The FRF (Former Russian Forces) is all but cleared from Tanoa and the surrounding islands. They are broken and attempting to withdraw to the small Northern Island.
INTEL
The FRF is broken as Georgetown fell. They have dispersed and are withdrawing to the Northern Island. However, because of TFA’s ability to destroy and disrupt the FRF’s C2 there are still a few hold out units. They are mostly Squad size units, and have in some cases found BRDM2s to add a combat multiplier. Intelligence have discovered a hill top TOC (Tactical operations Center), vicinity Grid 127093, attempting to regain control of the remnants of the ground forces and establish operations with the forces on the Northern Island.
The FRF is expected to continue to withdraw their forces to the Northern Island. They will fight in small units, occupying several buildings in the area forming strong points. We do not expect them to have the ability to reinforce other elements if/when they are attacked. The TOC is either requesting additional forces be deployed or a withdrawal plan be authorized, as they are facing imminent defeat.
Weather: Cool and partly cloudy with a light wind blowing to the East. No precipitation expected for the next 24 hours.
Terrain: Island Paradise, rolling hills to mountain peaks, and lightly wooded, open sugar cane fields, areas and triple canopy jungle in our operational area.
MISSION
TFA continues our Deliberate Attack on the Islands to eliminate all enemy forces in our operational area.
EXECUTION
TFA has occupied an Assembly Area and TOC at our current location Hear at the Airport. The Platoons have the available MRAPs, OH-6 Little Birds, and two 120 Mortars, located here. The Platoon Leaders will decide what assets they want to use and how they will Find, Fix, and Destroy their assigned Targets. The FRF TOC must be destroyed.
TFA will operate as Platoon Leaders direct in the effort to find, fix and destroy the FRF. Platoon Leaders will coordinate movement and attack plans with Spartan as they move through their sector.
MAPS
Enemy Forces
The FRF is equipped with current Russian Weapons and Equipment. They are considered a well-trained force with combat experience. They still have some BRDM2 and transport trucks for movement of forces. They are following traditional Infantry tactics.
There is no known use of Mines of IEDs in the area.
Friendly Forces
The Tanoa Military Force is returning to the main Island, and they have tasked TFA to eliminate the remaining FRF occupying the area.
The Tanoa Military Force conducts operations to secure the eastern side of the main island and will provide Intelligence to TFA as it becomes available.
TFA Equipment
ACE Arsenals are available.
Each Platoon is initially equipped with an M1230 MRAP as Platoon Reinforcement Vehicle and access to two (2) OH-6 Little Birds vicinity of Assembly Area.
The Reinforcement Flag Poles will move you only to the Platoon MRAP. If Air Operations are being conducted either the MRAP needs to be driven into the Operational Area or the Air Asset will be required to return to the airport to pick up replacements.
NOTE: Maximum of five (5) Helicopter Pilots are requested (two (2) for Alpha, two (2) for Hotel, and one (1) for Spartan).
