SITREP
The FKLA (Free Kekestan Liberation Army) has initiated a Coup d’état against the Democratic Republic of Kekestan and has begun offensive operations in the area. The Kekestan Army has abandoned Fire Base X-Ray and is the target of the FKLA.
INTEL
The FKLA forces are a home grown resistance force that has been mostly filled with farmers and laborers however they are motivated by the possibility of a new Socialist Ideology of “a pot in every chicken” and “too many cooks break the camel’s back”.
Other than the obvious confusion in the organization’s metaphors they are most likely armed with surplus Soviet style weapons and tactics. We expect they have limited Offensive Air capabilities and are focused on a land based attack to secure Fire Base X-Ray.
They do not know TFA has been moved into the Operational Area and is conducting their ongoing attack.
There is no known use of Mines or IEDs in the area.
We believe they have a large force that can be rallied to form a QRF.
Weather: Cool and partly cloudy with a light wind blowing to the South. No precipitation expected for the next 24 hours.
Terrain: Mostly desert environment, rolling hills to low mountain peaks, and lightly wooded areas to in our operational area.
MISSION
TFA conducts an Air Assault to occupy and defend Fire Base X-Ray from the FKLA and to neutralize all enemy forces attempting to occupy the Fire Base.
EXECUTION
TFA will move En masse via CH-47 following Route Blue Arrow and land in the Fire Base at the Helo Pad. The Platoons will utilize the available defensive to anchor their efforts to defend the Fire Base. There are four Mortars located west of the Helo Pad and should be manned when suitable. TFA will defend by Platoon in assigned Sectors and through coordination: Find, Fix and Destroy the Enemy Forces as they maneuver on the Fire Base.
When the Enemy Forces are neutralized TFA will consolidate and execute Assembly Area operations in the vicinity Helo Pad and prepare for follow on operations as required by the Kekestan Military Forces.
TFA will operate in a combined Platoon effort to destroy the Enemy Forces attacking Fire Base X-Ray. Platoon Leaders will coordinate defense plans and use of available defenses as they prepare their sector to repel the attack.

Enemy Forces
FKLA assets have demonstrated they are equipped with Soviet style equipment, and appear to be formed in traditional Platoon formations. Their equipment includes commercial type vehicles with heavy mounted Machine guns. There is no know use of Mines or IEDs in the area. We believe they have a large force that can be rallied to form a QRF.
We expected the FKLA to fight as small units, they are moving to conduct a deliberate attack on Fire Base X-Ray. We do not think they have established hierarchy of a chain of command, so if their failure is immanent we do not think they will withdraw or surrender.
Friendly Forces
The legitimate Kekestan Government have evacuated the bulk of the civilian population from the operational area to safeguard them. They have directed TFA to conduct a deliberate defense and hold the Fire Base.
The Kekestan Military Force will continue to secure the operational area and provide Intelligence to TFA as it becomes available.
TFA Equipment
Limited Arsenals are available.
Each Platoon is provided a Respawn Vehicle. Respawn is facilitated by Flag Poles at Spawn Point. Spartan will have an additional Respawn Vehicle and can be used if the Platoon Respawn Vehicle become unavailable. All Respawn Vehicles are also Arsenals.
There is an Aid Station and a Military Ambulance with supplies located east of the Headquarters Building. Each Strong point is armed with a M2 HMG and additional ammo close by. The Helo Pad also has a Munitions Arsenal located near the Fuel Bladder.
