SITREP
The Special Action Forces, SAF, is more than desperate. They are seriously at odds within their ranks. One group wants to fight to the last man, while the rest want to surrender and go home. They are getting low on supplies and have issued the remaining ammo to the troops within the Final Denial Line.
NATO has left the final clearing of Kaska to TFA. And since TFA is in a ‘groove’, they don’t want to interfere with it. However, at the request of NATO HQ, a squad of NATO Recon Force One has arrived at the mission start point to provide security for TFA’s starting point. The unit is being led by Maj. Lacy Day of the US Army.
The M1151A2 with GMGs were captured along with the general. These vics are available, one to each platoon, as they see fit.
INTEL
With the capture of the remaining general last mission, the CIA and MI6 have tried to ‘convince’ him to give up information about remaining troop strength and locations. He remains quiet about the subject. However, he did say that if defeat was inevitable, there are measures in place to deny the Kaskan people their island and cause great casualties to TFA and NATO forces. After the general gave this statement, he smiled and refused to cooperate further. Intel intercepted from Kaska refers to Operation Spoilsport. As intel comes in, it will be passed along.
The Radar Site team that surrendered during the last mission have said that a better visual for surrendering troops will be the removal of their helmets and kneeling on the ground. UN has determined that if these troops surrender without firing on TFA forces will be treated with dignity and medical assistance will be provided. Killing these troops that have peacefully surrendered will be classified as a war crime! This is the only failure criteria for this mission!
However, those troops that have shown open hostilities towards TFA and decide to surrender will be treated as hostile until they are in custody.
There are civilians on Kaska, but NOT in the western AO! Kaska has set up a provisional government capital in the town of Helen, marked on map. They will start repatriating their citizens once hostilities have ceased.
Mines are a possibility, especially at the Final Denial Line area.
MISSION
TFA will depart the Resort area and proceed to eliminate the 2 remaining AA Sites to the north. From there, PLs and Ghost will coordinate the final push into the southwest peninsula, and take back the airport from SAF forces. As more intel on Operation Spoilsport comes in, we’ll let you know!
ALL surrendering SAF personnel will be turned over to NATO forces. This will be done by securing the EPW, marking their location on the map, and moving on. NATO will retrieve them from there!
