SITREP:
The race for space has just hit a setback! A multi-national cooperation known as the Space Research Group, or SRG, want to restart the push back into space. But there has been a hiccup – the new and technologically advanced Talon Industries space capsule, call sign Global 1, has gone missing. Global 1 is a mixture of old space design with new and updated technology to form a reusable transport to the ISS, and it’s primary use as of this time is an emergency escape pod for the astronauts aboard the ISS. The capsule was being tested by 3 astronauts from the ISS when a software error sent the capsule nearly 500 miles off course.
The island nation of Tembelan has claimed they have recovered the capsule with the 3 astronauts and are holding them hostage, threatening to kill the hostages should any attempt to rescue them be made. SRG has been in contact with the Tembelan government to negotiate the release of the astronauts, with little to no progress.
INTELLIGENCE:
With the rescue of the capsule at Ekspor docks, intel places the three astronauts at a mountain military site of Lalat.
MISSION:
Continue the infiltration of Tembelan Island by vehicles taken in the first mission, clear out all enemy resources, locate and rescue the astronauts/secure a helo rescue. Clear the Bukit Communications Base and exfil the island.
Ground Topography: Varying terrain from coastal flatlands to steep mountainous terrain.
Weather: Mostly clear and tropical.
