SITREP:
The Russians are on the grab for more territory. They are trying to annex the small isle of Isla Primus.
To achieve this they have seized the offshore island fortress and set up an artillery and mortar platform with the intention of harassing the civilian population until the islands government capitulates and accepts Russian control. Whilst they are not directly targeting civilians, due to the nature of artillery casualties are likely to occur. Once this happens the government resistance will quickly fold.
To prevent this we have been moved in with the intention of assaulting the island and removing the Russian presence.
Mission:
1. Cross the stretch of water to the fortress and establish a beachhead.
2. Once consolidated we will push into the fortress and neutralise all enemy forces.
3. Sweep through the fortress and silence the artillery and mortars.
