SITUATION
Thanks to your efforts in Operation Hatch, the Paramilitary Wing of the Freedom and Independence Alliance has been completely shattered trying to assassinate President Stavrou, so much so that it is ineffective as a fighting force.
However Nikos Panagopoulos, the FIA leader, is still at large along with his trusted lieutenants, Markos Kouris and a man known only as Orestes. Together they still control a sizeable support organisation known as the Oreokastro Clan, which provided the FIA’s financing through smuggling arms and narcotics to Europe from the Middle East and Africa. Intelligence suggests they have expanded into human trafficking. The President believes that Panagopoulos intends to rebuild the paramilitary wing using the money gained from these activities.
As EKAM is still not ready for operations, we have been tasked by the government to smash the mafia organisation.
INTELLIGENCE
The FIA is led by Nikos “Strawman” Panagopoulos, a former smuggler turned FIA “freedom fighter”. The organisation was split between a trained Paramilitary Wing (FIA-PW), which is now effectively defunct, and an mafia style support organisation which provides the FIA’s financing through smuggling humans, arms and narcotics to Europe from the Middle East and Africa.
APD Special Branch have identified two possible sites which may be being used by the FIA support group.
MISSION
To maintain the plausible deniability of the government regarding the use of foreign forces on Altis, TFA will continue to operate under the guise of the APD Special Forces Unit, EKAM. The primary mission is to hunt down and arrest Nikos Panagopoulos, Markos Kouris and Orestes. Photographs of the targets are provided below. Each platoon will assault one of the identified sites codenamed Alpha 1 and Hotel 1 simultaneously. It is believed that both sites are guarded by armed clan members. There may be unarmed clan members as well.
As this is a POLICE operation all TFA personnel will carry helmet cams, which are to be on at all times. Three fair warnings are to be given to ALL armed clansmen to lay down their arms and surrender to satisfy legal requirements. If they fail to comply or open fire then you are authorised to use deadly force.
Unarmed civilians are to be placed under arrest and moved to a central location. All contraband is to be photographed but left in place for the regular APD who will secure it as evidence. Be on the lookout for any intelligence regarding other locations and the whereabouts of the 3 target persons.
All intelligence is to be reported to Spartan. Platoons are not to proceed to new target areas without the express order of Spartan.
GROUND: Altis is a volcanic island with a corrugated and mostly rocky landscape with scattered pine forests.
WEATHER: Dry, bright and sunny (bring sunscreen)

WEAPONS: Mix of revolvers, shotguns, MP7 SMGs and Moisin SBRs.
VEHICLES: Various civilian vehicles.
EOD/MINES: Possibility of contraband being booby trapped.
ROE: As per mission brief.
TFA EQUIPMENT
TRANSPORT: Each platoon has 1 x UH-60M as transport. This is also your respawn. Resupply of ammunition, medical etc., is in the aircraft inventory to allow you to restock in flight. Both aircraft are configured for fast roping.
WEAPONS:
– PRIMARY: HK MP5A4/MP5K with JHP ammunition, Practice grenades, blue smoke grenades for LZ marking
– SECONDARY: Glock 17/19 Gen 5 with 147g JHP ammo.
MISSION FAIL: Failure to capture Panagopoulos. Any unarmed civilian deaths by TFA.
RESPAWN: Flagpoles at start point to PL helicopters.
COMMS: As per SOP
AMMO: Resupply in aircraft inventory.
RATIONS: Sunflower Seeds (Yeah man!)
