by Capt. RedWeasel. Mission date Tuesday 12th November 2024, 19:00 GMT

SITREP

The FRF (Former Russian Forces) have consolidated their forces and occupied Georgetown and the surrounding area. They are preparing for a final stand.

INTEL

The FRF continue to operating in mostly Squad size units and have consolidated their forces in and around Georgetown. They are currently massed as a Battalion (minus) sized Light Infantry Task Force with some motorized support vehicles. They have limited Air Defense capabilities and are preparing for a land based attack. They are operating a hill top TOC (Tactical operations Center) vicinity northeast of the Cathedral.

The FRF is expected to continue to consolidate their forces to strengthen the defenses of Georgetown. They will fight in small units, occupying several buildings in the area forming strong points. They have the ability to reinforce when attacked with Infantry Company (minus) sized elements and we expect the TOC is either requesting additional forces be deployed or a withdrawal plan be authorized if they face imminent defeat.

Weather: Cool and partly cloudy with a light wind blowing to the East. No precipitation expected for the next 24 hours.

Terrain: Island Paradise, rolling hills to mountain peaks, and lightly wooded areas to triple canopy jungle, in our operational area.

MISSION

TFA continues our Deliberate Attack on the Islands capture Georgetown and neutralize all enemy forces in our operational area.

EXECUTION

With the completion of the watercraft movement, TFA has occupied an Assembly Area and TOC at our current location near the Morning Wood Lumber Yard. The Platoon MRAPs, OH-6 Little Bird, and two 120 Mortars, are located here. The available Mortars may be used during the ongoing combat operations. The Platoon Leaders will coordinate movement and attack plans to: Find, Fix and Destroy the FRF. Once Georgetown has been cleared of enemy forces, TFA will form an Assembly Area in the vicinity of the Cathedral, and prepare for continued operations to secure the Southern Airport. The FRF TOC must be destroyed.

TFA will operate in a combined Platoon effort to find, fix and destroy the FRF. Platoon Leaders will coordinate movement and attack plans as they move into sector.
