SITREP
The FKLA (Free Kekestan Liberation Army) is continuing operations in the area, and the attack on Fire Base X-Ray is imminent. Now, three weeks after the Coup d’état against the Democratic Republic of Kekestan, they have conducted and lost a number of major defeats. They are massing forces for the imminent attack. And with the neutralization of the self-proclaimed leader of the FKLA the remaining forces plan on making a last stand attack.
INTEL
The FKLA has broken contact and has gone quite in preparation for the attack on Fire Base X-Ray.
The FKLA recruiting slogans appear to now fall on deaf ears, and no longer does the new Socialist Ideology of “if at first you don’t succeed, this a hound that will not hunt” and “I knew enough to realize that the alligators were in the swamp and that it was time to circle the wagons” swell their ranks.
Armed with surplus Soviet weapons and home grown tactics they are staging to attack with overwhelming forces.
Weather: Cool and partly cloudy with a light wind blowing to the South. No precipitation expected for the next 24 hours.
Terrain: Mostly desert environment, rolling hills to low mountain peaks, and lightly wooded areas to in our operational area.
MISSION
TFA conducts a Movement to Contact to move quickly to reinforce Firebase X-Ray. TFA will follow Route Red Arrow to quickly maneuver to the Objective Area, then when contact is made will Find, Fix, and Destroy the FKLA forces in and around the contact area.
TFA will continue to move to enter and reinforce Fire Base X-Ray and be prepared to conduct defensive operations to defend the Fire Base.
EXECUTION
Platoon Leaders will follow the planned Route Red Arrow to the Objective area. TFA will move by Platoon by M1230 MRAPs along Route Red Arrow to Clear the Route to the Objective area. Using fire and maneuver TFA will neutralize the FKLA forces as much as possible as they move through Platoon sectors and systematically search and clear their sectors. TFA will continue to and conduct defensive operations at Fire Base X-Ray.
TFA will operate in a combined Platoon effort to conduct a Route Clearance and Movement to Contact. Platoon Leaders will deploy their units to provide supporting fires and coordinate movement to neutralize the FKLA forces. Hotel elements will cover the RIGHT side and Alpha will cover the LEFT side of the axis of advance. Expect to encounter BDRMs and Technicals with mounted HMGs and mortar fire. Be prepared to use fire and maneuver techniques to maximize your engagement ranges to safe guard your platoon Respawn Vehicle.

Enemy Forces
The FKLA are equipped with Soviet style equipment, and appear to be formed in traditional Squad and Platoon formations. Their equipment includes commercial type vehicles with heavy mounted machine guns, BRDMs, and AN-2 transport aircraft. They have acquired a number of 82mm mortars. They have a history of the use of Mines and IEDs in the operational area, and they still have a large force that can be rallied and moved quickly to form a QRF.
We have seen the FKLA break contact, and is preparing for a massive attack on Fire Base X-Ray. We expect the FKLA to fight in small units as they move their forces to the area around Fire Base X-Ray. We still expect the FKLA to rally its forces to mount a deliberate attack on Fire Base X-Ray. We expect the continued use of mortars in both defensive and offensive operations.
Friendly Forces
The Kekestan Government continues to evacuate the bulk of the civilian population from the operational area to safeguard them. They have directed TFA to conduct continued operations to defeat the FKLA.
The Kekestan Military Force will continue to secure the operational area and provide Intelligence to TFA as it becomes available. The Kekestan Military Forces are operating Fire Base X-Ray and UAV intelligence aircraft.

TFA Equipment
Each Platoon is provided a M1230 MRAP Respawn Vehicle. Respawn is facilitated by Flag Poles at Spawn Point. Spartan will have an additional Respawn Vehicle which can be used if the Platoon Respawn Vehicle become unavailable. All Respawn Vehicles are also Arsenals and have Repair/Supply function.
