SITREP
The FKLA (Free Kekestan Liberation Army) is continuing to conduct operations against Fire Base X-Ray.. Now, four weeks after the Coup d’état against the Democratic Republic of Kekestan, they have begun to fall apart. They are massing forces for the imminent attack. They have massed forces in the area of Fire Base X-Ray and have attacked. With the neutralization of the initial attack of the FKLA the remaining forces are gathering in the vicinity and continue to attack.
INTEL
The FKLA has initiated the attack on Fire Base X-Ray.
Armed with surplus Soviet weapons and home grown tactics they are staging to attack with overwhelming forces.
Weather: Cool and partly cloudy with a light wind blowing to the South. No precipitation expected for the next 24 hours.
Terrain: Mostly desert environment, rolling hills to low mountain peaks, and lightly wooded areas to in our operational area.
MISSION
TFA conducts a Deliberate Defense of Firebase X-Ray. TFA will provide defensive operations and on order prepare to leve the Fire Base and Search Out and Destroy all KFLA forces in the operational area.
TFA will secure the area then reenter and reinforce Fire Base X-Ray to prepare to conduct defensive operations.
EXECUTION
Platoon Leaders will deploy their units to defend the Fire Base. Using interlocking fires TFA will neutralize the FKLA. On order TFA will move out to Platoon Sectors and systematically search and clear their sectors of all remaining FKLA. TFA will return to the Fire Base then continue to conduct defensive operations at Fire Base X-Ray.
TFA will operate in a combined Platoon effort to conduct a Deliberate Defense of Fire Base X-Ray. On Order, Platoon Leaders will deploy their units into Sectors provide supporting fires and coordinate movement to neutralize the FKLA forces. Expect to encounter BDRMs and Technicals with mounted HMGs and Mortar fire. Be prepared to safe guard your platoon Respawn Vehicle. Then On Order, Platoon Leaders will return to Fire Base X-Ray to continue to conduct Defensive Operations.

Enemy Forces
The FKLA are equipped with Soviet style equipment, and appear to be formed in traditional Squad and Platoon formations. Their equipment includes commercial type vehicles with heavy mounted machine guns, BRDMs, and AN-2 transport aircraft. They have acquired a number of 82mm mortars. They have a history of the use of Mines and IEDs in the operational area, and they still have a large force that is bearing down on Fire Base X-Ray.
We expect the FKLA to mass and continue to attack on Fire Base X-Ray. We expect the FKLA to fight in small units as they move their forces to the area around Fire Base X-Ray. We still expect the FKLA to rally its forces to mount a deliberate attack on Fire Base X-Ray. We expect the continued use of mortars in both defensive and offensive operations.
Friendly Forces
The Kekestan Government continues to evacuate the bulk of the civilian population from the operational area to safeguard them. They have directed TFA to conduct continued operations to defeat the FKLA.
The Kekestan Military Force will continue to secure the operational area and provide Intelligence to TFA as it becomes available. The Kekestan Military Forces are operating Fire Base X-Ray and UAV intelligence aircraft.

TFA Equipment
Each Platoon is provided a M1230 MRAP Respawn Vehicle. Respawn is facilitated by Flag Poles at Spawn Point. Spartan will have an additional Respawn Vehicle which can be used if the Platoon Respawn Vehicle become unavailable. All Respawn Vehicles are also Arsenals and have Repair/Supply function.
Rations: Fresh Meals Provided by KMF: Steak Tacos, Spicy Tamales and Spanish Rice.
