SITREP
CSAT – Mediterranean (CSAT-M) forces are on the run. The quick and decisive assault on their SCUD launchers and airfield assets have severely crippled their war making capabilities. The US Army has moved into the northern half of Altis and the British Army has moved into the southern half and has been pushing CSAT back towards Kavala.
The civilians that were rescued have been a wealth of intel. The saying “loose lips sink ships” could not be more accurate with CSAT. Intel gathered suggests the CSAT command has withdrawn to Kavala and are awaiting a submarine to evacuate the leadership.
Intelligence
CSAT-M has 2 officers responsible for the invasion weeks ago and the mistreatment and execution of civilians on Altis. They are being held up in an office building on the west side of Kavala. They are identifiable by the red berets they wear. They are to be taken alive!
MAPS – To be seen on mission day.
Mission
TFA will depart the main airport and proceed west to Kavala to capture the CSAT officers. Razor will be providing CAS and strikes against enemy positions as intel becomes available.
Topography: High hills in the eastern half of the island.
Weather: Expected to be mild and mostly clear.
Opposition Forces – CSAT Mediterranean
Enemy Forces Equipment: CSAT-M is currently armed with modern Russian weapons, including iglas and RPGs. There has been reported sightings of T-80s in the area, LOTS OF T-80s!
QRF: They are attempting to stand their ground so QRF is not likely as they fall back to Kavala.
EOD/Mines: The 3 of 4 bridges into Kavala have been mined to keep TFA out. EOD might be busy near the end!
Friendly Forces: NATO is tied up fighting CSAT as CSAT falls back. Once past the NATO checkpoint, TFA is on their own.
ROE: SOP rules will be followed
TFA Equipment
Transportation: NATO has brought in US military vehicles for TFA to use.
An M1A1 Abrams has been loaned to TFA for the final push. If this vehicle is destroyed, that’s it. No replacement.
Loadouts: The standard 7.62mm/5.56mm weapons. AT single shots and MAAWS.
CAS: The USAF has loaned TFA the use of an A-10 Thunderbolt for Razor to utilize in support of TFA.
Comms: SOP rules will be followed
Ammo: Mixed 7.62mm/5.56mm
Rations: US provided MREs (variety box! Yum!)
MISSION FAILURE: Death of the 2 CSAT officers!
Any questions can be directed to Cpl. Ray!
