SITREP

CSAT continues to suffer many defeats and operational setbacks with the loss of valuable assets, they continue to withdraw from most of the interior of the jungle and have consolidated in the operational area to reinforce the remaining assets, consolidating their forces from the Colombian jungles to reinforce the remaining outposts with extended communications system normally located in the vicinity to distribution centers. Many of their production sites have been destroyed and most of their distribution centers and C2 centers have been neutralized.

The Colombian Government has asked TFA to continue to neutralize the CSAT in the operational area as they continue to move in to take operational control of the region reclaiming the areas CSAT has seized, neutralizing the CSAT threat and to eliminate their operations in the region.

INTEL

CSAT has consolidated forces and repositioned into several strongholds. They have established new outposts and an extensive communications network. Recent intelligence indicates they have been weakened due to losses in their weapons production and supply distribution system and have consolidated their forces to protect their remaining assets.

We have seen a continuation of the consolidation of CSAT resources and operations, and are moving to reinforce their last remaining outposts and operation centers against the Colombian Government. They are still operating their new weapons production and distribution, but intelligence indicates CSAT’s production has all but been stopped. However, there are several distribution centers currently still operational.

Expect CSAT to have heavy defenses and a large number of garrisoned troops in defense of this area.

Expect CSAT to conduct aerial reinforcement and conduct strong Close Quarters Combat in the main objective area.

Weather: Cool and mostly cloudy with a high chance of rain. There is a brisk breeze blowing to the North and expect light to heavy precipitation for the next 24 hours.

Terrain: Mostly jungle environment, rolling hills to mountain peaks wide swift rivers and small town communities and lightly wooded areas to in our operational area.

MISSION

TFA conducts offensive operations against CSAT. We are tasked to attack C2 and suspected Distribution Centers.

We will continue to destroy any identified antennas of the CSAT Communications network.

EXECUTION

TFA conducts combined platoon operations to find, fix, and destroy CSAT assets and operations. The platoons will move from the Assembly Area to LD/LC then move along Route Purple Arrow, conduct Reconnaissance and Neutralization of enemy forces into the OBJ(s). TFA will find and destroy all cargo and equipment in the Operational Area. The platoons will use extreme care while conducting movement through the area, and are to expect overwhelming forces garrisoned in the area and most likely a QRF to come into the area to provide additional threats. On order move to RV and conduct assembly Area Operations in preparations for follow on taskings.

TFA conducts combined platoon operations from our Assembly Area along Route Purple Arrow. On order Platoon Leaders will deploy their units into sectors and conduct attacks on designated objectives.

Primary mission is to destroy the CSAT C2 and Suspected Distribution Facilities and destroying CSAT Communications Network Assets. Each platoon has a M1230 MRAP Platoon Respawn Vehicles to move along Route Purple Arrow to conduct Reconnaissance and Neutralization of enemy forces by conducting a Movement to Contact and Attack on OBJ 001 (Road Block) then move into the reinforced stronghold OBJ 002 (Castle El Con Stanza) and then to OBJ 003 (C2 and Distribution Center). Locate and neutralize the CSAT forces in the operational area, and continue to destroy CSAT’s Communications Antenna(s).

On completion of the objectives TFA conducts assembly Area Operations vicinity of RV Dunlop in preparations for follow on taskings.

Platoon EODs will continue to destroy everything, everywhere, every time.

Enemy Forces

CSAT are well armed and well trained, they have night vision capabilities and to date there is no known use of mines or IEDs in the area. There is reported use of small helicopters and unarmed transport vehicles. Recon photos indicate they have mortars and other crew served heavy weapons.

Friendly Forces

The Colombian Government continues to conducted secret evacuations of civilian population around the target areas to reduce the possibility of unwanted civilian casualties. They have directed TFA to continue to conduct operations to neutralize their Communications network and inflict as much damage to their forces as possible. They are currently participating in offensive operations to the North and South of our assigned Sector.

The Colombian Government Military Forces will continue to secure the operational area and provide Intelligence to TFA as it becomes available.

The Colombian Government Military Forces are operating in and around our operational area and using strike and intelligence aircraft, including A10s, OH6s, and Marlins SAR Helos.

TFA Equipment

Each Platoon is provided a Respawn M1230 MRAP. Respawn is facilitated by Flag Poles at Spawn Point. Spartan will have an additional Respawn Vehicle and can be used if the Platoon Respawn Vehicle become unavailable.

All Respawn Vehicles are also Arsenals. And Repair/Supply function.

Rations: Chili Carne Asada and Rice con Queso Picante.
