SITREP

Anizay has broken away from the African Desert Tribes to form its only Republic. Anizay has worked with Western Countries, specifically the USA, during the 80s and early 90s before conflicts deemed the region unsafe. Now, with this newfound freedom, they have reached out to NATO and the US for some much-needed help, mostly to train their troops on proper techniques.

While their military is currently under equipped (most of their gear is late Cold War surplus) due to civil wars taking its toll on their inventory, the country has proposed to the US an oil trade in return for military training and supplies. Anizay has major oil fields, which is its key export bargaining chip. From the looks of it, the deal can be regarded as official, as TFA is being sent to help train the troops with its current gear till official arms arrive to update their arsenal.

Mission is to leave the airfield and head to FOB Obeh to meet with the Commander of the Anizay Military (wearing a beret). From there you will talk and get started on training the troops. Do take warning, there has been some small attacks from some unhappy African Desert tribes – so watch yourselves.

Intel

The African Desert Tribes have now come as one to form a new group: African Desert Army (ADA). Their goal is to retake Anizay and use the oil to fund terrorist activities in region.

Weather: Sunny, clear skies – rolling hills, some vegetation, but mostly sand and more sand

EOD/IED threats: Unknown – heads on swivel
