CSAT Columbia Mission 10

CSAT is collapsing, they are reinforcing the last of their remaining assets. They are preparing to evacuate the area and what is left of their extended communications network. Almost all of their production sites have been destroyed, and most of their Distribution Centers and C2 centers have been neutralized.

The Colombian Government has tasked TFA to continue to Find, Fix and Destroy CSAT assets in the operational area as they continue to move in to take operational control of the region reclaiming the areas CSAT has seized and to eliminate their operations in the region.

INTEL

CSAT continues to reconsolidate their forces and appear to be positioned to evacuate the last of their strongholds. They have moved and established new outposts and are collapsing their communications network, recent intelligence indicates they have been broken and due to their losses they are now looking at relocating into a less hostile region to continue their operations.

CSAT continues to conduct a consolidation of resources in the Operational Area. They are moving resources to reinforce their last remaining outposts and operation centers, to expedite the last transfers of weapons to their buyers.

Expect CSAT to have heavy defenses and a large number of garrisoned troops in defense of this area.

Expect CSAT to conduct aerial reinforcement and conduct strong Close Quarters Combat in the main objective area.

Weather: Cool and mostly cloudy with a high chance of rain. There is a brisk breeze blowing to Athe North and expect light to heavy precipitation for the next 24 hours.

Terrain: Mostly jungle environment, rolling hills to mountain peaks wide swift rivers and small town communities and lightly wooded areas to in our operational area.

MISSION

TFA conducts offensive operations against CSAT. We are tasked to attack C2 and suspected Distribution Centers.

We will continue to destroy any identified antennas of the CSAT Communications network.

EXECUTION

TFA conducts a Waterborne Insertion and combined platoon operations to find, fix, and destroy CSAT assets and operations. The platoons will move from the Assembly Area to the waiting AAVP-7A1 (Assault Amphibious Vehicle), then conduct Waterborne Insertion along the axis of advance to maneuver into Platoon Sectors, and conduct Reconnaissance and Maneuver to neutralize all enemy forces into the OBJ areas. TFA will find and destroy all cargo and equipment in the Operational Area. The platoons will use extreme care while conducting movement through the area, and expect overwhelming forces garrisoned in the area and most likely a QRF to come and provide additional threats. On order move to RV and conduct assembly Area Operations in preparations for follow on taskings.

TFA conducts combined platoon operations from our Assembly Area along Route Orange Arrow and conducts a deliberate attack to find, fix, and neutralize CSAT forces along the axis of advance. Platoon Leaders will deploy their units into sectors and conduct Reconnaissance and Maneuver to conduct attacks on designated objectives. Primary mission is to destroy the CSAT C2 and Suspected Distribution Facilities and destroying CSAT Communications Network Assets. Initial movement is along Route Orange Arrow to OBJ Wooster, then assemble at RV CAR and move along Route Pink Arrow to make Landfall and Position to maneuver.

Hotel will move to establish a blocking position and provide security as Alpha moves through Alpha Attack Route Blue to Find, Fix, and neutralize OBJ Alpha Dawg. Alpha will then move to Attack Position Dawg Gone and coordinate with Hotel to make final push to OBJ Lester.

Each platoon has an AAVP-7A1 (Assault Amphibious Vehicle) Platoon Respawn Vehicles. Platoons will locate and neutralize the CSAT forces in the operational area and continue to destroy CSAT’s Communications Antenna(s). On completion of the objectives TFA conduct assembly Area Operations vicinity of RV in preparations for follow on taskings.

Platoon EODs will continue to destroy everything, everywhere, every time.

Enemy Forces

CSAT has been well armed and well trained, they have night vision capabilities and to date there is no known use of mines or IEDs in the area. There is reported use of small helicopters and unarmed transport vehicles. Recon photos indicate they have mortars and other crew served heavy weapons.

Friendly Forces

The Colombian Government continues to conducted secret evacuations of civilian population around the target areas to reduce the possibility of unwanted civilian casualties. They have directed TFA to continue to conduct operations to neutralize their Communications network and inflict as much damage to their forces as possible. They are currently participating in offensive operations to the North and South of our assigned Sector.

The Colombian Government Military Forces will continue to secure the operational area and provide Intelligence to TFA as it becomes available.

The Colombian Government Military Forces are operating in and around our operational area and using strike and intelligence aircraft, including A10s, OH6s, and Marlins SAR Helos.

TFA Equipment

Each Platoon will be provided a Respawn AAVP-7A1 (Assault Amphibious Vehicle) located just Northwest of the Assembly Area. Respawn is facilitated by Flag Poles at Spawn Point. Spartan will have an additional Respawn Vehicle and can be used if the Platoon Respawn Vehicle become unavailable. All Respawn Vehicles are also Arsenals. And Repair/Supply function.
