SITREP

There is a conflict in the South Pacific. A rogue element of the St. George Island Defense Force (SGIDF), The Liberation of The Pacific (LOP), has overthrown the government and is demanding the return of St. Goerge’s president, Mr. Adamson. The president was evacuated along with his family and top administration to Australia.

The US has sent a 6-person delegation to St. George to end the hostilities and prevent any further loss of civilian life. But the delegation was met with hostilities and four of the delegation (the security team) were killed, whilst Ambassador Witte and his aide, Mr. Johnson, were taken hostage.

They have been separated to try and prevent a rescue and use them as leverage in their demands.

The LOP demands are that the ANZUS alliance forces be withdrawn from all South Pacific islands. ANZUS forces have been on many islands in the South Pacific at the request of these islands due to the unrest on St. George.

Small skirmishes remain, but mostly on the northern areas of St George. This gives TFA a window of opportunity to sneak into the southern part of St. George and using as much stealth as possible, and locate and rescue the ambassador and Mr. Johnson.

INTEL

The LOP is a highly trained, yet overconfident, military force with mostly later Soviet weapons and recently acquired Russian Federation weapons and NVGs to enforce their will on the population. Their leadership has been trained by NATO and UN military advisors, and this leads them to believe that the west will not attempt a military action.

President Adamson has requested the rescue of the delegation in hopes that this will force the LOP to the negotiation table, and prove to the LOP that they are not all powerful.

MISSION

TFA will depart Mission Start Point and proceed east, using the troop transport vics provided, to the location marked on the map where Ambassador Witte is being held. Upon rescue of Ambassador Witte, TFA and the ambassador will proceed south and rendezvous with SpecOps Team, Recon 2 under the command of Capt. Harris. TFA will hand over the Ambassador to Recon 2 for immediate extraction to a US Navy sub off shore.

TFA will then proceed east to the final objective of rescuing Mr. Johnson, meeting again with the Recon 2 team where they will provide RHIBs for the incursion of the missile facility.

TFA will enter the facility, eliminate all LOP forces necessary to rescue Mr. Johnson. TFA will then expeditiously depart the site via the RHIBSs and head for the exfil sub to the east.
