SITREP
The Ardistan Army is experiencing déjà vu! They have not prepared for a swift defeat of their forward assault forces the way TFA handed them this defeat. For this reason, they are more determined to hunker down and fight TFA!
With a good portion of their forces eliminated at Santa Isabel, they have consolidated their forces around key locations on the island.
INTEL
Isla Pera evacuated when the Ardistan Army took over the island’s eastern airfield. They have landed MBTs and Technical vehicles as a first step to occupation. Intel has learned that other types of vehicles are on their way to Isla Pera.
Comms coming from Isla Pera indicate that the weapons needed to hold the island has yet to arrive, so the ground forces are armed with rifles only.
There are no more air threats at this time. The Mi-8 transport helos that were destroyed in Santa Isabel represents the bulk of their air power. However, there are more Mi-8s coming to Isla Pera soon!
They are aware that TFA is here to take back the island – and they remember Sahrani and are itching for some payback!
MISSION
TFA will proceed east on the MSR and take out enemy forces at the objectives listed on the map. This can be done as either a company, or objectives may be divided between Alpha and Hotel teams.
There are currently no mission failure criteria.
MAPS
OPFOR
The Ardistan Army. Currently primarily armed with AK style weapons only. No GL nor MGs are being carried by the ground forces.
Bunker mounted PKMs are being used. AT is sparsely used and is the RPG-26 version.
Sniper positions are armed with the SVD (again, no NVGs)
Vics: T-72AB MBTs with night vision targeting sights and Hilux with DShKM mounts
Air Threats: None at this time
TFA EQUIPMENT
The standard Ray loadouts for weapons, ammo and boom sticks.
Comms will be in accordance with TFA SOP.
ROE will be followed at all times per SLs orders.
RATIONS: MREs will be available if your seasick tummies can handle them!
NOTE: Most civilians have left the island, the rest have taken to hiding somewhere on the island. Expectation of civilian interaction is considered low!
