Search and Rescue Part 2

by Cpl. Ray. Mission date Tuesday 31st March 2026, 19:00 GMT

SITREP

There is a conflict in the South Pacific. A rogue element of the St. George Island Defense Force (SGIDF), The Liberation of The Pacific (LOP), has overthrown the government and is demanding the return of St. Goerge’s president, Mr. Adamson. The president was evacuated along with his family and top administration to Australia.

US Ambassador Witte gave high praise to US CentCom for TFA’s professionalism and expertise during his rescue from LOP. For this reason, further missions are being planned for TFA upon completion of the St. George Operation.

The loss of “Mr. Johnson” at the hands of LOP is not sitting well with the CIA. Although the CIA is not directly holding TFA responsible for Johnson’s death, they are looking into what happened. Ambassador Witte has stated that he feels “Mr. Johnson” gave up some information on ANZUS operations in the Pacific Area of Operations. Ambassador Witte emphatically clears TFA in this matter.

Small skirmishes remain, but mostly in the northwestern areas of St George. However, the tide is turning in the SGIDF’s favor. With the rescue of the ambassador, the SGIDF can now press the LOP into an all-out fight for control of the island. One obstacle remains, the monastery AA site that holds back the SGIDF’s ability to initiate air operations on St. George. This must be taken at all costs!

INTEL

The LOP is a highly trained, yet overconfident, military force with mostly later Soviet weapons and recently acquired Russian Federation weapons and NVGs to enforce their will on the population. Their leadership has been trained by NATO and UN military advisors, and this leads them to believe that the west will not attempt a military action.

President Adamson has requested the continued TFA operation on St. George, and has authorized a push from the west by SGIDF forces to take as much pressure off TFA as possible. The LOP still has considerable manpower and offensive weapons to continue to fight on two fronts.

Mi-8 transports have been sighted at the northern airfield objective, along with troops ready to board as a QRF for the monastery site!

MISSION

TFA will depart the missile facility and proceed inland to take out as many objectives as possible. Primary is the Garrison near the Monastery, and the Monastery AA Site itself! The new radar site and comms tower is important, but not vital. If manning and time permits, these can be taken on.

Once TFA secured the monastery and eliminated the garrison, proceed to the airfield in the northwest and eliminate all hostiles there. TFA will hold the airfield until mission ENDEX.
