Search and Destroy Part 2

by Cpl. Ray. Mission date Tuesday 14th April 2026, 19:00 GMT

SITREP

The conflict in the Pacific continues, this time on the island nation of The Pacific Republic (The PR). After a Category 5 Typhoon Bertha narrowly missed the island, the ANZUS alliance planned to go to the island and prepare for the inhabitant’s return. With numerous island nations affected, the ANZUS had to prioritize the rescue and recovery efforts to those islands most affected.

Since The PR was spared the worst of the Typhoon, ANZUS accepted the help of the AAF in securing and preparing for the return of inhabitants with the help of several ANZUS scientists.

Once the AAF was on the island, they stabbed the ANZUS alliance in the back and seized island and its resources for their own, just like the Kaska mission. The ANZUS scientists (8 in total) have been taken hostage.

INTEL

It has been learned that the bulk of the AAF forces were trained by former Russian Spetsnaz (the GRU) and have been waiting for a chance to prove their worth in combat. With the recent encounter with TFA, they are realizing that Direct contact is futile. To this end, the AAF has spread out their forces to wear down TFA’s advance and try and buy time for reinforcements.

The scientist rescued from Objective Adam has shared some interesting intel with ANZUS intelligence – the AAF is in dire need of leadership. Their current officer leadership is comprised of low-level, inexperienced personnel, but a highly motivated enlisted corp. The AAF didn’t expect TFA to arrive on the PR so quickly and make a mess of their infantry. With seven scientists remaining in captivity, their rescue has stepped up TFA’s timeline.

MISSION

TFA will depart the TFA Tactical Operations Center (TOC) at the Ivanograd airport via CH-146 helos to their Areas of Operation. No AO has been assigned due to member numbers being unpredictable. For this reason, Alpha and Hotel SLs will decide which AO they will take depending on turn out prior to mission start.

There are 3 helos. Alpha, Hotel and Spartan. Spartan is a backup in case of emergency. These helos are arsenals and respawn points for the squad, as well as carrying four arsenal crates each.

MAPS

OpFor: The AAF

Weapons are from mostly later Soviet weapons and recently acquired Russian Federation weapons. Mostly the AK-74 in the 5.45 x 39mm caliber.

Additional weapons are: RPK-74, AK-74N GL, PKM and the RPG-7. These weapons are in short supply, and they are awaiting shipments of more. Because of this, only the external patrol forces carry them. The off-duty troops (garrisoned) carry the AK-74 rifle only.

Vehicles threats: Offroad PU with M2 HMGs and a hefty supply of T-55 MBTs (Gunny!)

QRF is a real threat. There is a RQF base on the west side of the island that can utilize the CH-136 Griffin for deployment.

Intel has reported the observation of CH-146 gunships in both AOs. These are high priority targets along with the TT-55 threat.

There are no mines within the AO. However, there has been a shipment in to the island that may change this balance.

TFA EQUIPMENT

The standard Ray loadouts for weapons, ammo and boom sticks.

This is an LPC mission! Leather Personnel Carriers!

There is a CH-136 Griffin for respawn and resupply (arsenal) for this mission.

Comms will be in accordance with TFA SOP.

ROE will be followed at all times per SL’s orders.

RATIONS: MREs and Box lunches brought with you.

NOTE: The only Civilians are the hostages held by the AAF.
