Missing In Action – Mission 1

by Cpl. Ray. Mission date Tuesday 7th July 2026, 19:00 GMT

SITREP

The African Desert Extremists (ADE) have shot down a C-17 Globemaster III, callsign 76 Heavy. A squad of US Army rangers were on board returning from a training mission with the South African Special Forces, along with a British Army Major Wellington, along to observe the training exercise.

INTEL

The ADE have long had a beef with the British military. They accuse the British Army of war crimes against the African population during their colonial days. Despite the World Court’s finding the British government committed no wrong doings in recent years, the ADE still holds the British government liable for many crimes, and will stop at nothing to seek revenge!

The ADE hasn’t got the resources, or capital, to pull off this type of attack. MI-6 is looking deeply into the crisis and will keep TFA informed of any new intel.

MISSION

TFA will depart the northern airfield in the Chongo district town of Swagga via UH-60M helicopter to Site 1 near the crash site to meet up with resistance recon team Recon 15 lead by Maj. Tomamba. He will give any new observations when you arrive. TFA will assault the crash site and rescue all friendly personnel and bring them home. Should any member of the AC crew or passengers have been taken away, TFA will do the following:

Coordinate follow on operations with Maj. Tomamaba and proceed to Site 2 to meet with site leader Capt. Mumbatta who is observing the ADE stronghold in Elsaville. Find out what you can from him before assaulting the stronghold. Should any captives not be located there, proceed to Site 3 and meet up with site leader Capt. Teele who observing the airfield to the southwest. Hopefully any captives will be held there. Assaulting the airfield will be done to bring our comrades-in-arms home!

NOTE! Mission failure will be given should any captive be killed during any assault phase!

Ghost patrol will be used as soon as the operator is available.
