SITREP
Rapid Deployment has delivered us to a border Island that has just had a fundamentalist coup by the Independent Democratic Fundamentalist (IDF). The IDF has joined forces with a former Soviet State and has imported medium range missiles, and are currently threating the regional stability by threats of preemptive strikes and targeting the sea trade that passes along the Northern reaches of the Island. IDF Propaganda Officers have been working closely with the State Media Station and four civilian collaborators. Unless the legitimate Government can reestablish control of the Island, the IDF will usurp its control and destroy 100 years of regional stabilization.
INTEL
The IDF is an unknown entity, but is backed by a former Soviet State. They have a number of Infantry personnel and armored vehicles. They have seized control of the Northern area of the island and are using the State Media with the use of Propaganda Officers to attempt to legitimize their coup and hostilities toward regional neighbors. They have displaced civilians in their operational areas and established strong points around the island. Intelligence indicates they State Media has ramped up their rhetoric and claims of legitimacy.
The IDF has established operations and has established a propaganda effort. They plan to use their newly acquired missiles to destabilize the region and hold International Sea Traffic hostage for profit. They have demonstrated they are willing to use military force to disenfranchise legitimate government powers and deny basic human rights.
Weather: It is hot, humid, and warm wind blowing, there are no indications of rain for the next 24 hours.
Terrain: Rolling hills to mountainous regions with farmland and small to medium urban areas, coastal regions are bordered by water, and wooded forests throughout the operational area.

MISSION
TFA conducts hasty attacks on the IDF strong points and at Points Of Interest (POI) to neutralize their ground forces and Missile Launch and Control vehicles in the Northern Coastal Region. There are 4 Civilian Collaborators and 2 Propaganda Officers at State Media Center the Local Government wants taken captive. The strongpoints with garrisoned troops must be neutralized.
TFA will conduct a ground based assault in our assigned operational area to IDF assets in and around the POIs.
EXECUTION
TFA has conducted a Rapid Deployment and has occupied an Assembly Area and TOC at our current location. The Platoon Leaders will decide how they will Find, Fix, and Destroy the assets in our assigned operational area and destroy IDF Ground Forces, Missile Launch and Control Vehicles, and Capture the Collaborators and Propaganda Officers.
TFA will conduct a ground based assault to Find, Fix, and Destroy the IDF in our assigned operational area. TFA manoeuvers into the Operational Area where Platoon Leaders will direct the effort to find, fix and destroy the enemy forces and resources in the Operational Area including all ground forces, MBTs and Missile Elements. Platoon Leaders will coordinate movement and attack plans with Spartan as they move through the sector in route to the POI and Target areas in the Operational Area.
We can expect the civilians have been evacuated from the contested areas.

Enemy Forces
The IDF is equipped with former Soviet State weapons and equipment. They are mostly a military force made up of advanced Infantry and 12 MBTs. They have at least four Missile Positions, and since they are mobile they can be quickly displaced. We must consider they are well trained and dangerous. They are operating a propaganda program from the State Media Station.
There is no known use of Mines of IEDs in the area.
Friendly Forces
The Local Military Forces have been fractured by the coup, so TFA has been mobilized to act with indifference toward the IDF. The Local Military Forces are consolidating their remaining forces and will establish defensive operations and will move to secure the rear as we move through the Operational Area, they will established POW and Civilian handling processes that will allow TFA unhindered operations.
The Local Governmental Military Forces conducts operations to our rear to consolidate and gather POWs and Civilians and will provide any Intelligence updates to TFA as they become available.
TFA Equipment
Each Platoon will have a respawn vehicle, Reinforcements (Respawns) are facilitated by the use of the Platoon Reinforcement Flag Poles. Spartan has additional respawn vehicle and can be used if the Platoon’s Vehicle becomes unavailable.
Additionally the Platoon Leaders have access to a small Recon Vehicle if they chose to use them. Additional assets such as K9 elements are available on request.
Rations: Roasted Potatoes, Pit Beef, and Pork with Grilled White Fish with local Tuber Root Cole Slaw, Spicy Black Bean Rice, and Cheesy Refried Beans, and Soft Serve Ice Cream with various toppings.
