SITREP
Rapid Deployment has just delivered us to an isolated Island chain on the edge of the map. A fundamentalist group has seized what was an island training facility, they have been identified as the Island Defense Force (IDF).
The IDF is a proxy force with ties to a former Soviet State, and has imported radical fighters and are currently building a strike force. The regional governments are being threatened and requests TFA conduct of preemptive strikes and to neutralize the instability that this has caused.
INTEL
The IDF is an unknown entity, but is a proxy military acting for a former Soviet State. They have a number of Infantry personnel and armored vehicles T-34. They have seized control of the island and are using the former training island to conduct operations and hostilities toward regional neighbors. There are no civilians in the operational areas, and they have established strong points, garrisons and training facilities around the island.
Intelligence indicates they have a C2 node located on the island.
The IDF has established training and recruiting operations, and has established an offensive effort. They plan to use their newly acquired strength to destabilize the region for profit. They have demonstrated they are willing to use military force to attack legitimate government powers and act aggressively for the former Soviet State that supports them.
Weather: It is hot, humid, and warm wind blowing, there are no indications of rain for the next 24 hours.
Terrain: Rolling hills to small mountainous regions with sparse wooded areas, and small to medium urban areas mostly damaged due to historic training operations, coastal regions are bordered by water throughout the operational area.
MISSION
TFA conducts a Water Craft Assault to gain a foot hold on the Island, then to conduct hasty attacks on the IDF Forces in and around the Objectives. TFA will neutralize the ground forces and C2 operations.
EXECUTION
TFA has conducted a Rapid Deployment and has occupied an Assembly Area and TOC at our current location. TFA conducts a Water Craft Assault to gain a foot hold on the Island then the Platoon Leaders will decide how they will Find, Fix, and Destroy the IDF assets.
TFA conducts a Water Craft Assault to gain a foot hold on the Island, as we approach the Landing Zone Lollypop Fire Support elements will conduct a suppression and smoke mission to obscure our landing. TFA will then conduct a ground based assault to Find, Fix, and Destroy the IDF in our assigned operational area.
TFA maneuvers in the Operational Area where Platoon Leaders will direct the effort to find, fix and destroy the enemy forces and resources in and around the Objectives, including all ground forces, MBTs and C2 nodes. Platoon Leaders will coordinate movement and attack plans with Spartan as they move through the sector in route to the Objective Areas in the Operational Area.
There are no civilians on the island.

Enemy Forces
The IDF is equipped with former Soviet State weapons and equipment. They are mostly a military force made up of basic Infantry and T-34 tank. They have number of transport trucks, and reconnaissance has indicated a limited number of service support vehicles. We expect the vehicles to be operational and can be quickly displaced. It is expected they have Paratroopers or Airborne Commandoes. We must consider they are well trained and dangerous. They are operating an active training program, and we expect them to begin offensive operations soon.
There is no known use of Mines of IEDs in the area.
Friendly Forces
The Local Military Forces have been incapacitated by the surprise attack to their rear, so TFA has been mobilized to block BIK from making additional aggressive movement South and force them to withdraw and eventually pull out from the entire region. The Local Military Forces are consolidating their forces and will establish concurrent operations and will move to secure our flanks as we move through the Operational Area, they will established POW and Civilian handling processes that will allow TFA unhindered operations.
The Local Governmental Military Forces conducts operations to isolate the island and to consolidate and gather POWs and will provide any Intelligence updates to TFA as they become available.
TFA Equipment
Each Platoon will have a respawn vehicle, Reinforcements (Respawns) are facilitated by the use of the Platoon Reinforcement Flag Poles. Spartan has additional respawn vehicle and can be used if the Platoon’s Vehicle becomes unavailable.
Additionally the Platoon Leaders have access to a small Recon Vehicle if they chose to use them. The Platoon Vehicles have been preloaded on the watercraft.
Rations: Will be provided when active combat operations concludes, however endless amounts of combat coffee will be available throughout the operation.
