Well, if you ever watched ‘Heartbreak Ridge’ featuring Clint Eastwood, then you understand some bits of the mission. If you are familiar with Operation Urgent Fury, you will also get some bits of this mission. For those that are not familiar to either of the above… shame on you!!! Joking aside, this combines both with a modern twist for TFA (and its current group size and abilities). So, strap them boots up cause tonight, we are going USMC mode.
SITREP
Listen up Marines, there is a situation on Malden, and we have been tasked to deal with it. There are four civilians that are in grave danger and need to be rescued.
Russian and Ardistian force are trying to claim Malden as their territory, and have taken four scientists who were studying the rocks around the west coast. Russian Forces have been shuttling in aircrafts and troops to support theArdistian Forces, who have brought ground forces to secure the island. Currently the southernmost point is not been secure, and this is where TFA is staging at on an LHA with four Destroyers as support.

MISSION
TFA’s mission is to split off from start point and complete their assigned objective before assaulting the Northeast Airfield. Each team have been given different arsenals and gear as two different Marine units are being used for this mission.
Alpha, you are MARSOC (Marine Special Operation Force – aka Marine Raiders), your arsenal is next to blue flag (one time teleport to waiting UH-1Y on flight deck), if need resupply call Overlord. Alpha, your respawn, if it really does happen, come over and tell me so I can TP you back till you RV with Hotel.
Hotel, you guys (and Jes) will be running as normal Marines. You will have your own arsenal next to your respawn flag (its TFA Respawn for both you and Alpha when assaulting airfield). Hotel will have one, I say again one, ACV-M2 to be used as respawn and transport. It’s also your arsenal as well. The ammo is all you have to work with, use it wisely.
Now, with that out of the way. Routes have been marked out for both teams and set where Hotel will meet up with Alpha and pick them up before heading to airfield. PLEASE look at the map, there is a HOLD POINT – DO NOT CROSS on map. Dismount there, all proceed to Overwatch point – HOLD FIRE and I truly mean EVERYONE SHOULDER weapon. You are 1200+ meters from any contact and none of your weapons minus the ACV, will touch the enemy.
Here you will observe the airfield and witness naval fire support in action. Once the fire support is complete, you be given the OK to head down and clear out any survivors and destroy any equipment and towers that survived. Endex will be once airfield is secured.
Fail condition, if any civilians die outside of Arma and Zeus hand (ie, tell opfor to toss frag).
