SITREP
Rapid Deployment has just delivered us to an isolated Island chain on the edge of the map. A fundamentalist group has seized what was an island training facility, they have been identified as the Island Defense Force (IDF).
The IDF is a proxy force with ties to a former Soviet State, and has imported radical fighters and are currently building a strike force. The regional governments are being threatened and requires TFA to continue to conduct preemptive strikes to neutralize the regional threat this has caused.
INTEL
The IDF is a proxy military acting for a former Soviet State. They have a number of Infantry personnel, armored vehicles and T-34. They have seized control of the island and are using the former training facilities to conduct training exercises in preparations for offensive operations toward regional neighbors. There are no civilians in the operational areas, and they have established strong points and garrisons for their training facilities around the island.
Intelligence indicates they have a C2 node located on the island.
The IDF has established training and recruiting operations, and has responded to TFA’s offensive effort. The IDF plan to use their newly acquired strength to destabilize the region for profit. They have demonstrated they are willing to use military force to attack legitimate government powers and act aggressively for the former Soviet State that supports them.
Weather: It is hot, humid, and warm wind blowing, there are no indications of rain for the next 24 hours.
Terrain: Rolling hills to small mountainous regions with sparse wooded areas, and small to medium urban areas mostly damaged due to historic training operations, coastal regions are bordered by water throughout the operational area.
MISSION
TFA continues to conduct hasty attacks on the IDF Forces in and around the Objectives. TFA will neutralize all ground forces and C2 operations.
EXECUTION
TFA has conducted an aggressive first day of operations on the island, we conducted a tactical halt here at Objective Doc in preparation of continued operations. We have occupied an Assembly Area and TOC at our current location. TFA continues to conduct hasty attacks as the Platoon Leaders plan how they will Find, Fix, and Destroy the IDF assets.
TFA continues to conduct hasty attacks on the designated Objectives. TFA Platoon Leaders will plan and conduct ground based assaults to Find, Fix, and Destroy the IDF in our assigned operational area. TFA Platoon Leaders will direct the effort to find, fix and destroy the enemy forces and resources in and around the Objectives including all ground forces, MBTs and C2 nodes. Platoon Leaders will coordinate movement and attack plans with Spartan as they move through the sector in route to the Objective Areas in the Operational Area.
There are no civilians on the island.

Enemy Forces
The IDF is equipped with former Soviet State weapons and equipment. They are mostly an ad-hoc military force made up of basic Infantry and T-34 tanks. They have number of transport trucks and reconnaissance vehicles, and intelligence has indicated a limited number of service support vehicles. We expect the vehicles to be operational and can be quickly displaced. We have faced Paratroopers, but with the loss of the airfield here at Objective Doc we do not expect further airborne reinforcements.
We must consider the IDF are a well-trained force and dangerous. They have been operating an active training program, and now we have forced them to begin offensive operations.
There is no known use of Mines of IEDs in the area.
Friendly Forces
The Local Governmental Military Forces have isolated the Island, so TFA has free maneuver and control of all resources on the Island to operate without restrictions against the IDF. The Local Governmental Military Forces will be collecting consolidated POWs during follow on operations.
The Local Governmental Military Forces conducts operations to isolate the island and to consolidate and gather POWs and will provide any Intelligence updates to TFA as they become available.
TFA Equipment
Each Platoon will have a respawn vehicle, Reinforcements (Respawns) are facilitated by the use of the Platoon Reinforcement Flag Poles. Spartan has additional respawn vehicle and can be used if the Platoon’s Vehicle becomes unavailable.
Additionally the Platoon Leaders have access to a small Recon Vehicle if they chose to use them. The Platoon Vehicles have been preloaded on the watercraft.
Rations: BBQ Back Ribs, Macaroni and Cheese Casserole, Baked Rosemary Potatoes, and Ice Cream with Fruit, Carmel, and Hot Fudge.
