SITREP
The HCMR have a problem. The Ardistan Army has abandoned the HCMR cause and left Vietnam. The Ardistan Army left much of their equipment behind and the HCMR are putting them to use.
Two training camps have been located in TFA’s Area of Operation (AO) and need to be dealt with.
INTEL
The HCMR fight in Vietnam continues, however, they face the onslaught of the TFA push back. The HCMR have taken possession of the abandoned Ardistan Army equipment (Hilux with DShKs and T-55 MBTs) and are getting ready to use these against the Vietnamese population.
The leader of the training camps for the HCMR is in the region and needs to be taken alive. Comrade General Tran is a stickler for appearance and likes to travel the camps in full dress uniform. There are no current pictures of Tran but anyone wearing class A uniforms is a priority capture target!
The HCMR are a radical force that truly believe in total communism over personal freedoms and liberties and will fight to the death to see communism takes over the world!
Weather: Partly cloudy and humid.
Terrain: Mostly flat with dense vegetation and tree coverage and lots of rivers.
MISSION
TFA will leave FOB Con Tho and proceed by boat to the northwest to Ran Ho Mang (Cobra) Training Camp and eliminate the enemy there. If General Tran is not located, proceed to Python Training Camp and eliminate the enemy there.
There is a heavily defended checkpoint called Checkpoint Island located just south of Python Training Camp that needs to be eliminated.
Should General Tran not be located at either camps, plans to locate and capture Tran will be planned for a Day 4 unless intel is obtained on Tran’s whereabouts.
Upon completion of all objectives, TFA will return to the FOB for mission Endex.
NOTE: Bridge obstacles may be demoed to permit TFA’s movement on the river.
Ghost will be available upon his arrival to the mission area!

OPFOR: The Ho Chi Mihn Revolutionaries (HCMR)
They are armed with weapons from the late Soviet era and assorted weapons from around the world.
Vics: Hilux with DShKs and T-55 MBTs.
QRF: None we are aware of.
Air Threats: None in the AO.
TFA EQUIPMENT
The Ray loadouts have gone through an upgrade! Some weapons have been added, some removed! Make sure to check over all items before saving a loadout!
The Malden Defense Force (MDF) have loaned TFA nine Jeep Wranglers for use in the mission. These vehicles are fast and will help quickly getting in and out of hot zones!
Two are assigned for respawn, Two are equipped with an M249 SAW, 4 more for squad use if needed.
Ghost was only able to leverage 1 Polaris DAGOR. He is still working that issue for more!
Comms will be in accordance with TFA SOP.
ROE will be always followed per SL’s orders.
RATIONS: Air dropped rations from the Vietnamese Air Force is planned. Stay tuned!
NOTE: There is a mission failure for this operation! General Tran MUST be taken alive!
