SITREP:
In a small province in the eastern European nation of Grozovia, the local population is experiencing a case of ethnic genocide. The small ethnic group, the Grozovian Zerlots have always been at odds with their much larger neighbours, the Grozovia Pentacs, for centuries. The Warfare between the Grozovian natives only became not violent during the Soviet occupation of the country. In recent years the tension in the country has reached a point where hostilities have resumed. The Pentac leader has called for the elimination of the Zerlot people once and for all!
Intelligence:
The national government of Grozovian has been rounding up all the Zerlot people from all over the region and busing them to the town of Elektrozavodsk for execution. A civil leader and supporter of the Zerlots within the province, Mr. Andreas Manelia, has been captured and is due to be executed at noon on mission day.
Mission:
TFA has been HALO dropped at night to the town of Stary Sabor. There at mission time you will proceed to the riverside town of Elektrozavodsk to gather evidence of the genocide taking place there. Locate and rescue Mr. Manelia before the execution takes place.
Ground Topography: High hills and sparse farmlands.
Weather: Mostly clear with cool temps.
Opposition Forces
Enemy Forces Equipment: Grozovia is a modern nation that is getting stronger every year with its natural resources. They are equipped with modern equipment and vehicles, and are highly trained and motivated in their county’s ideology.
QRF: Spread throughout the nation, most could be in effective range within minutes. This could be anything from Helos to fighter jets. These things are at their disposal.
EOD / Mines: Most likely there are leftovers from the Cold War that may be of concern.
Friendly Forces: No friendly armed forces in the AO. TFA is on its own!

Mission Failure: The failure to rescue Mr. Andreas Manelia is the failure! His testimony is key in a War Crimes Trial against the Grozovian government.
